I've played both Caldari and Gallante, and I have to say that Gallante have the best looking ships.
Smooth round edges, aerodynamic organic looking.
Caldari is OK if you like a box with thrusters. Very sharp edges, crate looking ships.
How about you?

Ive always liked the amarrian ships best. As always though there are exclusions to the rule 
If we are to include all ships and not just the player ones then id also have to pick Sansha, like punks in internet spaceship form.

This is a hugely tough question...Amarr and Gallente definitely get my vote if all you're looking for is boring conventional starship design, but Caldari and Minmatar ships look so unique and different I can't help but love them....The Caldari and Minmatar shuttles look far better than the other two, just because they're so damn cool :)

Caldari are just horrible, Gallente is ok tho Domi is fugly and minmatar mostly look like scrapyards.

Tough question.
I'd say the only ship I like from caldari is the Rokh. I like the Amarrian zealot, and the Nightmare faction ship. I also think the Minmatar shuttle looks cool.

- Anathema, Magnates
- Executioner
- Punisher
- Coercer
- Arbitrator
- Omen
- Harbinger (this one's grown on me, lately)
- Armageddon
- Archon
- Avatar
But of the other races:
- Merlin
- Tristan
- Rifter
- Thorax
- Scythe
- Hurricane
- Megathron
- Nyx
Special mentions are ALL of the freighters, specifically the Providence and Charon, which just look awesome. And I'm not an indy type player, can't even fly one.
Obviously, t2 variants are part of the above. Only reason I mention the Anathema separately, is because I do believe it's the sexiest ship in game.

I like mostly Amarr and Caldari ships, and then only a few from each. like the Rokh, Chimera, Wyvern, Leviathen for Caldari, Armageddon, Abaddon, Harbinger for Amarr. Not really a fan of Gallente / Matari ship designs at all.

That Core Comlexion Rifter seen in some missions against the Matar Republic. I don't even mind the railguns on it.

Amarr. No contest.
Gallente 2nd, though their frigates have an anime feel to them that I really hate. Especially the Tristan...it looks like a Pokemon. But their cruisers and battleships have a "massive", hightech look to them that I like.
A lot of Caldari ships are fugly (Bantam looks like a dog humping a vacuum cleaner...the Moa looks like a plucked chicken), but some of them do look cool. I like the Rokh a lot (has a Battlestar-Galactica feel). The Ferox looks cool. I know a lot of people don't like the Scorpion, but I think that one looks cool as well (even if it is small enough to look like a cruiser).

Well considering that Star War's Millennium Falcon was fashioned after a hamburger with an olive, it just may be possible that you just found the inspiration for those two ship designs.

BTW this thread comes up on a monthly basis, and still doesn't settle things. Can't we stop doing this to ourselves?
