Well, discussion of winning and losing in this context is of course entirely pointless since with the changing of the guard and activity patterns its often the case that ships simply miss each other in the night eh monsieur Ends, but suffice to say the presence of Unicor corps on both your kill and loss mails will suggest that they are not out of the fight by a long way and your rumours of their destruction? Exagerated at best. Still, welcome to the war and enjoy your psy-ops.
PS Incidently, here is what a Unicor commander has to say about the situation TPS and PA.
Quote: "have always dealt with honour, and TPS certainly has my respect.
Our withdrawal from P3 into deep 0.0 wasn't, as implied, due to any particular withering blow - it was a tactical move (one which I did not personally agree with) intended to concentrate military power in strategic locations. It was simply felt that p3 wasn't worth the resources it was costing.
Let it not be thought that we did not give a good account of ourselves. Equally, let it not be thought that UNICOR is dead. We're back, and we're better...
We had two enemies in those days - TPS and ourselves. Communication breakdowns and lack of organisation plagued us and gave TPS the in they needed to get the whole psyops thing going. Had our house been more in order, things may well have turned out very differently...
Here's to brighter days ..."
I think that clears up the myth.

The Unicor situation is simple.
We sat down with them about two weeks into the war and asked that they stay relatively close to Tribute.
The leaders of Unicor quite rightly said "nah, we're cool. Geminate is the place to be".
They then moved out and proceeded to kick the living **** out of TPS up until the point when Equilibria formed.
Unicor asked for our help once and a 20 man c0d fleet went down and kicked TPS around that weekend.
However, without it's main pvp fleet in order, UNICOR fell to the brilliance of Cao Cao's divide and conquer tactics that we have seen repeated so many times in Eve history.
I look now at the remenants of UNICOR.
Equilibria are fighting alongside RKK/m0o/Evol in BKG. The rest of the UNICOR corps apart from MLM are stationed in Pure Blind. MLM are in Torrinos rebuilding and are stronger than ever.
Nothing has changed, we're still fighting together and all the words in the world won't divide us.
But I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Trying to drive a wedge between us achieves nothing but bringing us closer together.

Uhhm.. That is just an opinion It doesn't clear anything up.
But ok, lets play:
Originally by: PA person
The losses inflicted on our enemies are hysterical. One corp alone has killed over 300 battleships. One corp! Only fanatics like Jade still believe they have a chance of getting out of this on top.
I hope that clears up the myth

Edited by: The End on 19/08/2004 12:28:26 Once again more yap yap from Jade and dbpreacher
first Jade:
You quoted zzazzt
Its funny that you quoted him.
Millenium corp was indeed the most upset with unicore and nca.
the millienium guys were the first to start joining tps which almost led to the destruciton of the corp.
with all due repsect to zzazzt and millenium
zzazzt was about to join TPS himself. but his love for the his long time corp prevented him not joining. He felt if he left. millenium would disband.
We tried to get their whole corp. in But it was 50/50 and didnt work out.
also zzazzt wasnt in charge of the fleets nor was in high command at the time TPS and unicore were fighting.
You gave me no direct answer and quoted a person i personally have no idea why you did.
This new unicore may be led by zzazzt but the old one was destroyed because it was abandoned ------------------------------------------
as for dbpreacher
I did see where kirin said on your forums "that we were cool"
But Kirin was blind to know what was going on.
anyway maybe if you were in teh area in the first place maybe you would know
and i love how you guys state that we were getting beat down.
yet we are in tribute vale and geminate but how could that be since were beat down.
we got more of a fight from unicore in the last 3 weeks of the war then we ever did.
anyway maybe you guys would be able to post some accurate and dead on info about this issue IF YOU WERE HELPING UNICORE
i have yet to get a direct answer and i assume i will never. just more yap yap
i quite frankly dont care anymore. and its time for cookies and milk.

just found them now
Zzazzt is a dedicated Member to millenium anyhow.
You would have to have been there at the time to know what he was feeling or his corp rather.
Millenium gets my respect and all of tps's respect for his actions in the game.
P.S and i even have a chat log of me talking about chocolate covered donuts

Edited by: Mirus Crosius on 19/08/2004 13:06:36 It's fair to say that Zzazzt has not only saved a doomed Unicor, but a potentially doomed Millennium as well.
I just got sick and tired of the political harranging and totally lost interest in being a pawn in whoever wanted Millennium "on-side". Zzazzt took control, shook the corp up and did what was right for Millennium. And because of it, my interest in the game is back to it's usual giddy heights, our membership has swollen, we're having far much more fun and we're better organised.
So I'm taking a minute to respect Zz for that.
Millennium is here to enjoy the game and milk out the best experience possible from it. Put your politics, fuming and flaming all in a box, bury it in the back garden and leave it at that.

Well for my money Zzazzt is a good fellow and dedicated to his corporation and their allies and he impressed me a lot. TPS can spiel psyops propaganda till the cows come home but at the end of the day everyone makes their own choices and does what they personally feel to be right.
Millenium was always a good corporation and after some hard times they are back to good form and positive direction.
That earns my respect.
