I am trying to take down my pos and i can't unanchor my guns without getting my ammo and eve will not let me take my ammo from the batteries, What the hell is going on here.I am using a mark 2 shouldn't have any problems with this...
Can anyone help me ?

Fly to the gun within 1500m and open and remove ammo, now right click it and unanchor

if that don't work, and you have an xtal stuck in the active chamber,
1st unload all ammo you can, then drop a different type of xtal into the reserve chamber.. close it up then reopen and both should appear
Use quotes ("") in URL tags or it breaks the layout.-Rauth |

Xtal stuck ?
Is this a known bug or something,, it's about to cost me a pos and alot of investments.
I have tried dragging it from the the storage and active windows it won't let me

pretty lame bug, won't let me unanchor my tower because the one gun is not letting us take ammo out of it and i can't unanchor the gun without the ammo out.. hope ccp figures this out it really could cause alot of mishaps

I think what he meant by xtal is crystal.. damn internet speak.. anyways, what he was saying is that there might be ammo loaded in the gun itself, besides the cargo. Put a different type of ammo into the turrets hold. Then close it, and reopen it. Both type of ammo might be there. It's then a matter of removing BOTH of them, and trying to unanchor the turret.

it's an old bug particularly with laser sentry's as they have an active chamber + a reserve one...

Last I checked you are not supposed to be able to remove ammo from the active chamber, only destroy it.

exactly : right clic on your gun/access active crystal, then right clic on crystal/trash it...
You may think twice before using faction ammo in amarr guns :)

Yah i tried all that guys , trashing it, tried putting more back in and taking it out, tried everything and it sux to cause i can't unanchor my tower without taking the gun down so my tower is just sitting there
CCP won't respond to my petition about it and it's been about 3 days i don't know how much longer till someone just blows up the tower but i would like to get it back

You should be able to remove reserve-crystals, then offline/unanchor the gun. The active crystal can not be removed, but it does not need to be.

If you have an issue like this, petition under the stuck category. Response should be in a few minutes.

Turns out this is a bug that happens sometimes and CCP finally responded to my petition and unloaded the ammo from the gun, Thanks to all for the reply's to the post , somethings are just better left to DEV's and ADMIN"S i guess :) have a good one guys
