How do we get name changes?

Izm	Posted - 2009.03.23 17:05:00 - [1] Can CCP write a devblog or show us players where we can go to find out what steps we need to take to get a name change? The reason that I ask is that over the years there have been a number of characters and corporation names that I wanted to change - the answer from CCP was always "We don't do that, ever. Unless your name is petitioned as being something obscene." So, in light of recent events (Kenzoku having their name changed) and due to the history of CCP favoritism and cheating with regards to Kenzoku/ex-BOB, I'd like to know how the average player can also get hooked up with name changes. Thanks in advance.

NidinKele Caldari State War Academy	Posted - 2009.03.23 17:11:00 - [9] I think he is referring to the name change that happened today. CCP changed the name "Kenzoku" to "Band of Brothers Reloaded". It's just a name, so it doesn't make any big difference and they didn't have any sov anyways but it's sad to see CCP favoritism once again, when there are hundreds out there who would have liked to change their name but got denied for the sole reason that name change is not allowed.

I'm asking for a policy update for the playerbase since apparently something has changed without us knowing.

(See no mention of alliances) But as it is Kengoku asking they are allowed to have their name changed and keep the Sov 3 counters intact ...
