Hello all 
I have been a busy bunny and I haven't been ignoring you all - Linked below is the teaser for CS2:
Clear Skies 2 teaser trailer
If all goes to plan there will be a full trailer coming in April sometime, closely followed by (at last!) the finished article. Thank you all for your patience and kind words on this, I still can't believe the number of replies and views of the original thread!

First of all, I would like to say that this movie was a masterstroke. It was fantastic. If you charged for more, I would pay, you deserve something other then kudos.
Secondly, do you look forward to the advent of the much anticipated ambulation that will be coming out? I am betting you would be able to make great use of it. Although, considering how amazing it was, with or without out it I am a fan, either way I am sure it will be fantastic.
I used to count RedVsBlue as my favorite game turned cinema. Now however, this is clearly the best. Thank you for the amazing video.

Well I cant speak for Ian (JR) on this one, in fact I am pretty sure he will disagree with most of what i am about to say, but I don't see ambulation having an effect on anything that we may (or may not) do in the future. I will be the first to admit that I don't keep up on the forums, so am not sure exactly what ambulation will entail but from a continuity point of view any future Clear Skies films would still have to use the Half Life 2 engine purely for the fact that those models (to me at least) ARE the characters. Ok i know that Charlie should be Caldari, but in my mind Charlie is now, and will forever be, the Half Life 2 model with the "Benny from crossroads" hat so cutting from a caldari male walking into the ship, to the half life 2 model for close up and speaking shots just wouldn't work.
What do you guys think?

I think JR should ask CCP to make some likenesses of the characters (including attire) if ambulation is to come out before Clear Skies 3 is in filming (if there is going to be a CS 3).

I have to say that the first video was amazing. I still watch it from time to time for a good laugh. I've shown this video to a bunch of my friends (eve player and non-eve players) and they've all enjoyed it thoroughly. It even got a couple of them to start in on the game.
I'm avidly waiting for the second video to be released. there's nothing else I can really say about it that hasn't already been said dozens of times either here or in the "threadnaught", so I'll just leave it at that.

Aha well the April thing was quoted back in about January so there is some 'slippage' I'm afraid It was a rough estimate and really shouldn't have been put where it was but I don't mind really
An update. Well - I have two scenes left to make, and I've nearly done one of those. Once I'm working on the last scene to do, I'll put the full trailer up. If all goes to plan that'll be tomorrow
Once the last scene is made, the utterly tedious task of sound balancing has to take place, so a couple of days for that. Hang in there guys, I'm as excited as you are I assure you
