You have to start somewhere. And of course you can never totally ban it, but you can do damage control.

im sure the answer has been posted here already. Many cfs members were getting angry at people strip mining belts, leaving a bit of ore in the roids helps them regrow quicker and keeps a ncie amount of roids in the belt. so people can mine more instead of w8ing for slow regrowth after some group have strip mined.
My vids and random stuff |

Impressive work here CFS. It only took you some 10 months or so before you adopted almost exactly the same proposition that Empyrean Federation had. 10 months of mining in the regions you lay claim to but cannot defend until you wake up.
Question: What happens when you fail to comply with the bill and are in a NPC corp except getting on your KOS-list? And what happens if your military can't uphold the bill?

Yea, theres a multiple-page post on the cfs forums about popping asteroids. People are pretty upset about it. Once I actually figured out why it's bad, I can see why they take it so seriously. ------------------------------------------------

I think CFS has enough friends, to get some support if needed. _____________________________________ Dead or Alive

Every alliance is based on money and the ability to make it to buy/build ships and modules and to replace loses. Even the alliances that deny they are mine need to mine to do this and you cant mine what isnt there and popping roids makes mining more difficult in the medium to long terms so makes it harder to replace loses and harder to defend the stations.
Its very simple if you think about and not just whine everytime something annoys you.

dumb dumb kids, farming roids doesnt work anymore. so there is no point to any of your new laws. none of which actually help anyone who uses cfs space, even if farming did work.

I wonder who's going to actually police this new law and enforce penalties in case of violation
Arguing with EVE customer support is like chatting up stewardess on the plane - you know you're not gonna get any , but it's still hella fun trying |

Edited by: Leopold Kex on 25/08/2004 12:29:40 This is ridicolous, it's pretty common knowledge around all space how mineral regrowth works, at least within the larger alliances who mine rare ores. It's not about being able to mine freely or not, but rather to show the area and your fellow allies some respect.
When CFS and Star Alliance started to show up in Delve, they started to implement this law only after the Delve Alliance corporations suggested them to do so. As a matter of fact (as I understood it) Raindrop and CFS didn't approve of the law until FA insisted on them to accept it. Guess that's politics...
The rule is only necessary to follow if you intend to stay for long in the area. It's impossible to control. It's more a matter of asking yourself if you want to be able to mine more in the area, both from the fact that the stones will grow back faster if you leave some units in them, and that people will hunt you down if you pop them.
