It may tell you what they bought, but it doesn't tell you what they possess. Useless intel is useless.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

How long have you played Eve? TBH, this is mostly an important feature for evaluating haulers and others that live by contract work. I will use contract histories to negotiate lower deposits with haulers that I can see have an established history of honest work ethics. It does apparently make it impractical to scam with ones main, but I suppose this would by why there are 100's of day old toons scamming in Jita as I type. It does also mean that one has to be careful in contracting to your spy alts, but if you private contract your own alts, hopefully they won't get scammed in the process.
tl;dr not game breaking, though eye opening the first time one has to consider all the ramifications.

If it was a PRIVATE contract then no, no one can see it.
oh, whups, thought it was free viewing for all.
Still you can see that info about corpmembers.

so you never get your cars taxed then.
and how is my buying a officer fit carrier game breaking?
i have never taxed any cars because i dont drive lol it was just an example
it is not game breaking for you to buy the thing but if i was at war with you or you are a pirate then i would know what to expect
i would be able to see all the officer things that were on the ship when you bought it which tells me that you have lots of isk and that you bought an officer carrier
just for example
You just purchased an item the size of a city. SOMEONE noticed and reported to me. NOT a game breaker.

Lucky that the people who fall for misnamed contracts aren't going to check contract history then, isn't it.
rofl I was just thinking the same thing. If someone can't be arsed to pay attention to large isk contracts then I doubt very seriously they are going to be arsed to view someone's contract history! LOL
I kinda like the feature though. ---
To err is human. But it shouldn't be the company motto...

You're on general. Any criticism or rave is automatically trolled.
If it were a gamebreaker, then the game would have already broken, that feature has been around for a long time.
I like it. When I put out a contract, people fill it. People even eve mail me and ask if there is anything else I need moved. Having a good reputation is priceless in this game. --

Thanks for that. That was the funniest **** I've seen on the forums for a while.
On Topic: To answer your question, no this is not game breaking. And I can't be arsed to explain why I don't think so. _____
