And to the rest of you.. you all missed the point completely. This was an attempt to see if the community really does have a voice, but it's clearly obvious that any community driven action would never succeed.
In other words your voice will never be heard cos you're too weak to have one and speak up, to scared of offending the creators.
It's not about liking or disliking the game, it's purely about input consideration....

I think the game is improving.
Yes a lot of things are missing.
Yes they are some issues.
Of course it was released too soon. But hey, CCP isn't Blizzard or EA games. This is their first game and I think they going well as a first try.
If you want to boycott, well you gonna need a reason that affects hardly a lot of players.
You are trying to make a generic boycott, as sure many things don't go as we want in the game.
Do you think it's easy to make everybody happy? Nobody did it before. Why you expect CCP to do so?
Game as complicated...Has Eve ever been simple&easy ('cept beta, Amrmageddon day ^^) ?
If you want something easy go for a shoot'hem up.
Of course I liked to get ark and in empire. I liked Omber in 1.0 sys too. But was it a good choice? No, because it would have make player rich too easier, and then waste their enjoyement with new stuff.
I'd like to do AFK mining sometimes. Was it fair with other doing missions? No, so it was changed, as hidden belt were populated with NPCs.
Eve doesn't look like what it was before.
If you don't like it, it's up to you to boycott.
IMHO, we are on the good way for an excellent game.
I don't know for you, but I read the EULA. CS is based on that.
Playing Eve means you accept the EULA, i.e. you also accept CS capabilities and limitation.
How many different computers, connection types, OS and countries are playing Eve? A lot. Do you think it's easy to trace all errors? Are you able to do it precisely at least on one?
Of course you pay for playing. But who paid for the game devellopement's in first place?
Do you prefer the dev's reading the forums all the day and posting answers to all ideaas, OR you prefer them working on the game to fix everything.

It's not an idea problem. You have to take into account the capabilities of the network, of the server cluster and also of the client. Any new think implemented is CPU/Memory/network consuming. You have to choose how to do things, to think how they can be dealed elsewhere or if something can be done otherwise to get more ressources elsewhere.
Before calling for a boycott regarding everything you don't like, think that the game has evolved since release (in content and player base) without being more client side consuming.
For me it has also less lags than before...
Even if all what you expected is ingame, you should notice the progress before saying "let's show them who's the boss".
Use your brain...Even if it's time consuming

I must say that CCP has improved during the last year and has given us much. / as a counter argument(or annex - additional info) to former sentence: everything we were given these past few months has been promised to us from CCP for the last decembre already. SO it's not like they hurt their backs delivering it to us. the SoonÖ joke didnt come out of the clear blue sky....
I play eve mostly every day too many hours to be comfortable with it anymore. I will join the boycott on the septembre 1st :) just to prove to myself that i can live without it no problem and that i can become "un-addicted" at my own will. It's not the reason u looked for mate, but it will do for ur cause perhaps :)
Wish u luck in the future, and my Fortune shine down ur path. (cancel eve subscription first if u want fortune to help u :))

Who like EA? I just took them as big and well established companies, to best seller game they have done.
