It is with great regret that I must post this topic, and I do so on an alt char so as not to pull you corp into the frey.
When last did CCP development team change something that affected you and was not needed? When last did something simple become complicated to pointless extreme so as to reduce your enjoyment in this game? When last did the support team give you idiotic advice like "Try reinstalling EVE" or "That's what's ment to happen"? How about over "equalising" something that was deemed by "who?" to be too strong?
It's heppened once to often for me. I think it's about time the players of EVE showed just who is boss. WE pay their salary and WE are responsible for this games success yet our input seems to hardly be considered in any way, shape of form. There is no view of player input and it seems the balance of all aspects of the game is the call of a few who no doubt do not have the full picture. So, I call here for the "Great EVE Boycott" to show the development team and support teams that WE are what matters in this game.
Septemeber 1, 2004 after down time, defy your inner needs and don't log on back onto EVE until September 2 after downtime. It's time a message is received by the creators to show just how united a player community can be.
Flame away... or Support the cause... the choice is yours, act if you want to be heard.

Personally I have experienced very few problems with EvE worth being angry with them about.
As for the devs constantly tweaking (not nerfing) balance... well they have to do that if they want any kind of balance at all in the game.

I don't understand how not playing for one day will help anything. Try cancelling an account, that has a bigger punch.

Well I for one will not be logging back on after DT on September 1st and my reasons are solid!
They don't let us install Eve at work. -----------------

can't think of a single time in the last year and a bit...quit if you want, its not until you've left that you realise just how insignificant most of the bugs are (except perhaps lag, but thats another reason why i want you to leave )

You think just because you pay a subscription fee, the game needs to move in the direction you desire?
You are not qualified to criticise the people who made this game, in fact you are not qualified to carry their shoes.
Your entire body is not worth a pimple on the ******* of any of the programmers, and if you think the customer is always right, then feel free to find another game.

whos more qualified to criticise the programmer than people who use their creation 11 hours a day then

Keep paying but use less of the company's bandwidth and create less lag? That'll show 'em. Ya, better off canceling your account. --------- Kitten Hearder Evolution made my sig Less Entertaining than your's. |

If you replied in this post that you are not experiencing issues in the game, then you must not be playing much... Everytime we turn around they are changing things... And people get tired of the canned responses that have nothing to do with the petitions... Everyone who plays this game is a critic and is qualified, without the players you have no game, remember that...

Well, it's pointless unless you also cancel any skill training during that period (gasps of "no! not a whole day!").
Also, don't you think a mail to the devs is more productive?
Personally I simply wait, patiently, for the Trade and Social skill groups to be implemented.
