Holy crap. Watching the video were the couple greatest minutes I have ever had doing anything Eve related.

Yes, eve-fan art is legal. There's an entire sub-forum dedicated to it. The only way it's illegal is if you in some way make money by it.

People that put the time and the effort to produce something like this will be the reason EvE will surpass and outlive all the other MMO's. Vids like this is the reason why people keep coming back to EvE and squeeze the time to play and enjoy this amazing universe.

Ok here is what my reaction was:
*I regard the 5 seconds of 2:07 to 2:12 (initial warp in) to be the greatest "oh f*** were gonna die suprise" moment in all recorded media.
*I have seen all of the highest rated EvE related films. I have found few that could be called it's equal; none its superior.
*I shed a tear for the first time in two and a half years. The death of a grandparent, dog, and a catastrophic auto collision have failed to make me cry in that time.
*I watched this continously over 10 times.
*I have become interested in the EvE chronicles and the EvE novel and am now reading both.
*I have stayed up late watching this wondering if there is to be a sequal.
*I have wondered if you would ever consider heading an EvE movie.
*I have no skill in computer design and I have an unbearable will to help you make more of these.
*I have put this on an mp3 player and have watched it frequently for several days.
*One of the most concentrated, high quality pieces of cinema I have ever seen in my quarter century existence. |
