Play Dead Gallente Altruism. Avarice.	Posted - 2009.04.04 07:16:00 - [1] Avarice, as many of you may know or at least think you know...Are bastards addicted to pvp and carebear tears. Today, much of both were had. Working with our allies in Cloud Ring we have been engaging in some very intense and entertaining PVP. Since we arrived day 1 and engaged such organizations as Dead Mans Hand, Sons of Tangra, Puppet Masters and even IRON who apparently love us so much they came from Pure Blind to see us. It has been nothing but nonstop action and madness. Now CAOD reader, why should you care about what Avarice is doing in Cloud Ring? Because today, not only did we participate in more capital kills than we ever had in a day (15 + 1 supercap as we were part of a Shade/CH hotdrop earlier) the emorage reached new heights in our enemies. Working in conjunction with our long-term allies The Shelter, our off/on lovers MH/GFED, Dara Cothrom (who've been really fantastic all week I might add) and Cry Havoc we managed to tackle and kill 4 Un-Natural Selection Dreads, 1 Carrier and 1 Nyx mothership. The twist? Well, the Nyx and two of the dreadnaughts self destructed before they were killed. It gets better. This capital force had absolutely no support in system. They had no scouts next door in any of the three systems including our current home system of DY- which is right next door. If they had, they might have noticed the 40 or so people in local getting ready to jump in on them. If I were a betting man, I think I'd have to say that the very careful and experienced capital pilots were relying on the fact that the system they were in was cyno jammed to protect them because we all know, cynojammers = god mode amirite? Needless to say, cyno jammers do not equal god mode. The HEX Coalition which is supposedly unstoppable in Cloud Ring has come to a halt as sloppily and poorly as it began. Dara Cothrom, now being buffered by other forces in the area who HEX agitated are banding together to return them to their ORE homelands. I believe you may be referring to the fight in/around fountain yesterday, which involved us jumping onto a dominix, and PMS jumping in on us.
