Simple enough question I guess- what new ships types do you want to see added to the game? Either all-new classes or just new versions of old ships, what would you like tload your pod into?
I'd like to see a new type of tech 2 battleship, designed directly for mainline combat- sort of a battleship version of Assault Ships/Heavy Assault Ships. Admittedly there's not as much room for expansion since the tier 3 battleships can already mount 8 weapons, but the existing T2 battleships just don't fit the role- Marauders are obviously PvE-inclined and their combat bonuses over normal battleships are highly subjective, while the general opinion on Blackops ships is that they suck in combat.
I'd also like to see some naval issue variants of the mid-ships -Destroyers and Battlecruisers- added to the game. Destroyers especially are so specialized in their roles that virtually no-one uses them in PvP so simply adding some outright harder versions would be nice, while faction Battlecruisers would be a nice touch for people who don't particularly want to spend 2 months meeting the requirements for Command ships (especially as Fleet Command Ships and Field Command Ships have different prereqs). I'd love to get my hands on a Naval Issue Drake or Myrmidon.

T3 -insert ship class other than cruisers- would be great too.
Oh and a khanid battleship, the game lacks an armor tanking missile battleship (no, the rattlesnake doesn't count).

More USEFUL faction ships frigs and cruisers mainly (especially pirate faction ships!). And that the ones that we have now become useful if they aren't. I think usefulness on all faction ships should come close to the succubus, phantasm and nightmare. Faction ships should simply not be eye candy but have a role they fill nicely for both PvP and PvE.
Only a few of the current ones are any good. Most of them are worse then tier 3 frigs/crusiers for any role really. Got Cooch?, solo PvP movie

Harassers: T2 Destroyers Focused on primary racial weapons. velocity or agility bonuses to help emphasize hit & run tactics Amarr lasers, caldari missiles, gallente hybrids, minmatar projectiles Emphasis on tracking/range for turrets, missile velocity and precision for launchers.
Light carriers: T2 Battlecruisers 2-3 fighters, no jump capacity, no weapon systems. tier 2 battlecruiser base Minimal to no drone capabilities, 50mb bandwidth perhaps. Designed almost acentirely to move and assign fighters.
Fleet/Heavy logistics ships: T1 battleships or freighter-sized capital
Able to mount triage (mini?) modules and capital rep systems. tier 3 battleship base heavy tank ability minimal to no gank New module, tactical data net, acts like tracking computer for all fleet ships in range Corp. hangar to disburse ammo? | \ / T2 variants Fast logistics - faster align, faster warp, lower armor Heavy logistics - much heavier defenses, nearly stationary.
Reactive tracking disruptor - targets every ship locked onto you. Remote dampener sphere - Bubble of sensor damping ____________________
Minmatar in Fantasy or Duct Tape Goes Medieval. |

1st idea: Black ops carrier
-Can take black ops cynos -Can mount a scrambling sphere launcher : Black ops carriers and non-capital ships within the sphere cannot be probed/are extremely difficult to probe.
Possibly make it immune to ewar or give it a +2 to warp strength.
Purpose: Supporting stealth bomber/recon ship/black ops gangs in enemy territory to be a more effective guerilla element, allowing them to utilize fighters, extended ammo storage, and remote reps for ships that otherwise carry little tank.
2nd idea: Monitors
-Battlecruiser/Battleship sized ships that can carry a supercapital weapon and a siege mod -Either poor tank and slow, or T3 forcing the player to choose between the two. -Should be relatively inexpensive as far as T2 goes.
Purpose: econo-dread
3rd idea: Boarding ships
-Destroyer hull -Shoots Marines -Several ideas: Could simply bypass shields and armour to damage structure directly (perhaps even transferring X% of damage to the pod after the structure reaches say.. 95%. Amount of damage to the pod would increase with level, allowing you to capture ships or jettison cargo ect.), or could have disabling effects, such as causing damage to modules or sabotaging natural capacitor recharge. -No turret hardpoits
Purpose: Can now disable a ship without causing outright destruction. Introduces boarding combat, which has been absent thusfar (while on the contrary a fairly important element of historical and modern day naval combat).

Allthough i cant use torps myself, i think a black torp spewing khanid abaddon is the wet dream of many eve players.
T2 resists of course, and for bonusses something like: BS skill: 7.5% bonus to ROF per lvl, 5% bonus to armor resistance t2 skill: 10% bonus to armor hp, 10% to missile velocity? ---------------------------------------------

Some new cool t1 ships would be fun too. Something in between a capital ship and a battleship. I wouldn't have a clue what it would do but it would be a nice bridge while your training many , many days for capital ships ...

T2 battleships. Higher resistances better bonuses.
Marauder would fit into that role, but the ECM strenght thing just makes them useless in real combat.

Dedicated Gas-miner (with the increase in booster site spawns and the T3 gas requirements this would really be nice)
Khanid style battleship would rock, a torpedo-spewing armour tanker preferably.
Revamped faction ships (Blood Raiders, Angels, Serpentis and Guristas) since those are very fragile and very tight on the fitting side of things.

Look at the Sansha stuff compared to everyone else's.

Who'd use them?
Faction frigs are 30m and up. Faction destroyers? Do we really need them anyway? Isn't that what dictors do?
The Eris still needs fixing btw.
Faction BCs... again I'm not sure of the purpose. Seems just like a twink command ship. Not sure the command ships are balanced quite properly yet anyway. I guess a green Brutix would be cool.
Do BSeses really need any more tank and gank? 
More empire factions would be interesting. Everything looks better in Khanid.

1) Another T1 destroyer for each race with hardpoints and bonusses for their other "racial weapon". Missiles for Caldari, missiles with a dash of drones for Minmatar, unbonussed turrets but a big bonussed drone complement for Gallente, and whatever the hell is appropriate for Amarr (?rockets?).
2) A "mobile hangar" that just transports ships and ejects them inside stations, big enough to take a battleship + salvager + small hauler + shuttle, able to travel in empire and use gates. Moving a bunch of rigged/insured ships from one place to another is a vastly bigger chore than it needs to be. Nothing fancy, no 28 days of training like an Orca (which isn't big enough anyway), just something to free up time for fun stuff.

Aside from a rebalance of the four non-updated pirate faction ships i would like to see some additional ships for them (maybe one more frig, one more cruiser, and a BC) and - special ships for the other factions, namely Sisters of EVE, Mordus, Thukker and Amatarr.
Other than that maybe a complete revamp of capitals inculding more modules and T2 cap mods aswell as maybe 1-2 more capital class vessels with more focused roles (not as tight as a Dread though).

One more battleship for each race, aside from that I feel that this game has enough ships already has it is if not too many since it seems to great of a task for CCP to keep 'em all somewhat balanced.
A Khanid BS would be sweet, black apocalypse ftw. Pherhaps a damp bonused gallente BS in line with the Scorpion and whatnot.

I agree, currently there is only 1 pure missile BS in caldari with amarr getting 3 laser platforms. More mid range BS would be amazing.
I would also really love a high sec dreadnaught, just something that can shoot a pos for over 2k dps but has no pvp ability whatsoever.

Isn't shooting a POS by definition a PvP activity?!? So in your scenario your dread would be shooting at any POS that's not player owned. Got it! LOL!

I'd actually like to see more ships catering to a RP/non-combat roles. Like yachts, racing ships (all speed, no guns), exploration ships (not scouts, something indy-sized that can fit probes, miners, scanners, ect), and other things of that nature.
I'm all for combat, but the game has more depth to it than Pew Pew, and I'd like to see more toys for the other facets of the game.

Some fixes I'd like:
A gimick to make AF's more fun More DPS on Field Command Ships Much larger tank on Fleet Command Ships and max range limit on gang links (500km or something)
