The very first PVP fight I was ever in I was in a Kestrel.
I met up with some guy in a Crow. He warp scrambled me and I panicked so I started running.. At 50% shields I realized that I could probably take him.. I turned around, webbed him and started firing light missles. I lost and the guy had 30% armor left, but this was my first fight and he had a head start :)
At the time it seemed like an even match. Maybe he was a newb, i dunno. But had I not ran in the first place I think I would have taken him.
