The prices of those repaited cruisers will be so high and their utility so similar with current ships that are completly wasted space... not only don't have major advantages, but also will cost lot of Isk and will require spend lot of time on skills and don't bring major advantages.

Seriously CCP.. What the heck is the point of these ships? Cruisers last about 4 seconds vs any battleship targeting them. And the skill requirements! My God..
Now, if they had a huge shield and Cap, with a insane recharge time. Then maybe they'd be more attractive.. I honestly don't see why anyone would take the time to train skills just for this.

The whole 'skill reqs are tough' thing is sort of a moot point. You will need cruiser V for any of the elite cruisers, so you'll need it one way or another. As for the other skills -- well, targetting you should have a few levels in, and signature analysis at IV anyway. Soo.. say two weeks of training? Really, that's not bad at all.

There are many other skills more useful than cruiser lvl5 :)
Gunnery for example, missiles and Eng/Elec
Beside there are no major advantages from those REPAITED cruisers for the current cruisers.

I don't know about that, Ben. You can either have your pilots flying these toothless hospital ships, or you can have them sending fire into the foe. The choice is pretty obvious.

These ships would be useful as a support ship over other ships IF their shields/armor had near invulnerability resist %'s.. That way they wouldn't be picked off so fast as any other ship seen doing support duties would :b A huge amount of armor/shields would help too otherwise they're just out there saying to your enemies, "Hey look at me recharge shields/cap of my friends and make them target/track better." only to be blown to pieces first.

Thats a pretty good idea. I think they should put all the resistence for shields and armor at about 90%. That way at least they last more then 5 sec in a battle. Thats my suggestion cause right now this ship doesnt have anything that special that would worth spending so much time of training, except the paintjob

I would'nt bother flying one with the requirments needed (well I would'nt go out my way to get them) and with there current stats, these ships just look so useless, and since they are tech 2 they'll probably cost about 40 million, cheaper to use a battleship probably.
