I'd love a 5/5 split and that might be ok considering the SP's needed to fly a Typhoon. 45m SP's should see you almost maxed for the Phoon so long as you haven't gone to heavily into T2 ships. I'm at ~44m and just need T2 sentries and a couple of missile support skills to 5. I think 35m sp's is plenty to fly a Phoon well - that is roughly when I switched to one and I'm sure you could get there much sooner with a more focused training regime. I've maxed out for Cruisers, BC's, BS's, HAC'S and CMD'S. Thing is being Minmatar you want to take the time maxing out in the smaller ships because they rock. When I talk about being able to fly a ship well my standard is doing close to all level 5 damage whereas being almost maxed means matching all level 5 or higher (due to implants). Typhoon is very SP's intensive in my opinion. I know extremely efficient Domi pilots with 12-15m sp's. To try and get an effective low SP Typhoon pilot you are going to end up having pretty ****ty training for making the most of being Minmatar.

Expendable Pilot	Posted - 2009.05.05 05:38:00 - [94] Huh, a buddy of mine started flying a Typhoon when he had about 16mil SP. I think he's up to 20mil or so now and is still running L4 missions/PvP/etc. without any trouble. He must be doing it wrong. I'll tell him to stop immediately and wait until he has 40mil SP to even think about jumping back into his Typhoon. If he doesn't believe me, I'll direct him to this thread for sure.
