The reprocessing window hopping about the screen rather than just appearing in a single position is getting really irritating really fast. By this I mean when you right-click an item and click reprocess, the reprocess window appears in a position in the screen and then almost immediately jumps to where it was last placed. It is surprisingly jarring when used more than once. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Environmental Effects

for those with starting eve gives minimized eve-icon but no slpash screen: klick the minimized icon as if you would maximize eve press alt+right enter
it happens because with this patch eve doesn't feel like doing what it should when you start in widowed mode, alt+right enter changes it to fullscreen and from there you can go to windowed hithout problems ---- Is that an Itty V in your pocket or ar you just happy to see me? |

Still having client installation problems, must have downloaded around 20gb of crap installs now.. ..raised a petition under installations and patching as follows recommend anyone with similar issues does the same:
"Since the auto-patch I get a message "Your Eve client installation may have modified, damaged, or corrupt files. Please re-install the game client Verification failed: "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\common.ini", crc:c9f3b09e, expected:590402d8.
I've tried downloading the full client but it reports a curruption.
I've tried downloading an offline full installation of the client but it stops downloading after about 120mb.
I've tried patching an old client (72263) but again it reports a curruption.
I currently have no way of getting a working client, and as a result since the patch release have no way of logging in.
I'm running Windows Vista SP1, Please advise.."

Tech 2 Light Electron Blasters don't show up when fitted to a ship. The shadows from them appear, and they will fire, but the graphics of the blasters themselves are invisible in the fitting screen, hangar, and space.

So far in 2 missions (GE and Infested Outposts level 4) Hammer IIs and Hob IIs. People relying on drones for damage must be royally screwed ![Sad](/images/icon_sad.gif)

Anyone getting double entries in their overview? Is there a fix? I petitioned it, and the GM told me to delete my settings files and try that. It didn't work. I get two entries for each item in the overview. Very annoying!

eve crashes a splash screen. I get a rainbow of colors on my screen. and the my cpu just stop working. other games are just fine just eve that does this. only thing I have found is this. Running Window XP but I'm getting the same.
Splash screen then music and the window box is in the tab. Can be minimized and graphic shows it drop down from the outer top left hand corner but nothing appears.
Managed to use tab to find the password box and enter pw and hit return. Sound indicates loading but no change.
No further sounds.
Tried again and now not even the music starts up. Cannot see the window. Tried rebooting also but nadda.

I have the same issues as Hober Hardin.
Eve_Premium_Setup_86756_m.exe randomly 'completes' a download anywhere between 100-300MB. I have tried different browsers, but the behaviour is consistent on two machines. Both are XP SP3
Any assistance gratefully received

Client crashes when loading grids. Only common thing seems to be the presence of acceleration gates. Likely due to shaders as reducing them appears to "solve" it.

So i'm not sure how many people have POS's in w-space. But we have one in a class 2 system, and there have been 0 sites since the patch. The w-hole are still spawning and despawning but NO sites at all in the system. We have went and looked in the neighboring w-space systems and there are sites spawning in them. ----->Was there a change made to where sites dont spawn in a w-space system with a POS????? ____

I dont know if this is an issue with the patch, or just me that has missed something, but here goes:
I have a Core Defence Field Extender I blueprint, researched to a ML of 19. This should be enough for perfect manufacture of a single run, according to the guides/forums I have read so far. Apocrypha reports that 101 burned logic curcuits and 101 tripped power circuits are needed to build 1. This gives a waste of 1 of each of those components.
The question is: Was that changed in Apocrypha, in the patch, or has it been like that all along ??

this, and it doesn't happen only on 50/50 but on every strength. It's very anoying to scan when both the sig and the echo are on the same place, even more so when that place is the wrong one. The graphics too seem to be somewhat of a "hey that looks cool, let's do it" decision.
Where I found scanning to be very fun before the patch, it's now a royal pain in the ass. So please ccp turn back the scanning to what it was? Though with the ID thingy included, that seems to work fairly well.

Sound: Using 5.1 sound on ECS A780GM-A mainboard(onboard sound). With system map open, warping to a wormhole produces popping and crackling sounds from the speakers.
Lag issues: Client slows down dramatically when probes do anything since 1.1 patch. Pressing analyze or recover probes buttons triggers this. Possibly a network latency related issue, since others closer to the server don't seem to be experiencing the same problem. Placing bookmarks triggers the same kind of game client slowdown but this issue has been around for a long time.
Game client crash: C++ errors on exit. Not yet able to consistently replicate the problem but possibly related to session change timer, since it often shows after changing ships and exiting.
Game client has also CTD a couple of times with no error on AMD/ATI based single core system. Haven't yet been able to replicate the issue.

Noticed a few posts up about things not spawning in w-space since the patch.
We have our pos in a class 3 system. Prior to the patch, our wormholes consistantly opened up to low sec. Say 1 hi sec for every 30 low sec wormholes, and almost always in the same regions of low sec (that's not very random now).
On day 1 after this latest patch, our new wormhole opened up to :drum roll: low sec again, but we did notice a decrease in signals. 3 gas deposits and only one roid deposit. Went and looked at the roids and had our jaws hit the ground! Mountain sized roids! Arkonor roid with 15,000 in it! Jaspet with 125,000 in it! Veld with 200,000 in it! So we were quite happy!
BUT...... Day 2, Same deposits, nothing new. Worm hole again to low sec..... Day 3, Same deposits, nothing new. Worm hole AGAIN to low sec..... Day 4, Same deposits, sleepers changed around, nothing new......sigh.....low sec yet again (we've yet to see a null sec wh). Day 5........worm hole to low sec again......but now NO deposits.
For the last 3 days it's been the same thing. Worm hole only to low sec (but we got used to that, CCP must have a different idea of what random means), and no deposits of any kind. Sleepers have been leaving I guess, as at first we had 5 sites, then 3 now 2 only......
Is w-space borked now? Or is this what CCP wanted? If so, they've just made having a POS in w-space no longer workable (nothing to mine).

Dragging ammo onto on a turret in a group only loads that specific turret, not the whole group anymore. Furthermore, you can't load ammo into the others then under certain circumstances; same goes for trying to unload. Heck, once I even hadn't a corresponding module button in the UI, thus not being able to fire my turrets!

Even after unfitting one or several grouped turrets, the remaining turrets still form the group. When refitting them, each turret remembers its group. Repackaging and then fitting them again freshly out of their packaged status only partially solves the issue. When fitted, they appear as non-grouped, but when forming a new group, they appear as "Group 2". Obviously, somewhere in the system EVE still thinks there's a "Group 1" somewhere.
I could see this problem escalating to the point that i can't fit and/or use weapons of any kinds any more (at least not grouped).
Please look into this ASAP!
PS: Relogging seems to help - for now.

I can confirm the weapon grouping bug. It's nasty. Clear evidence of the bug is that you are unable to clear weapon group. Luckily, just like reported, restarting the client seems to help. |

Skill training queue issue:
I had covert ops 4 about to complete. Nothing else in the queue. Opened the queue managemnt window and added several lvl 1 skills I wanted trained to lvl 2. Still had a few hours available so added Energy Management V at the end. Clicked the apply button. Clicked the apply button 2 or 3 more times because I'm that way. Then I log off.
The next day I log in and discover that nothing started training after covert ops 4 finished. Lost 18 hours or so of training time.

I've had the same problem, the only solution I have found so far is to click on the "Return and orbit" button and then quickly click on the "Engage" button as soon as your drones show the Returning status. It is still an annoying bug, but I hope this helps a little.
