Just paid 4.5 bill on the Amarr T3 cruiser with subsystems last week and after the patch my " Legion Offensive " has turned into a " Legion liquid crystal magnifiers " which makes my ship COMPLETELY USELESS. Yes i have petitioned it but no doubt it wont even be read until 2010 like the only other 2 petitions i have submitted in the last 3 years.
Thanx CCP.
P.S thanx also for fixing the " overview bug " which most of my friends also suffer from. ( NOT )

You sound like a happy person, and I'm sure your petitions are well thought out, genuinely concerned, and NOT full of what some may consider witty sarcasm and half-handed insults. As such, I'm sure CCP values your opinion and input and accepts your disapproval of their activities with the same grace and sincerity.

I gave up being nice to CCP after i realised like MANY others that they dont value anyones opinion other than their own and being nice certainly doesnt get you anything extra or even a result for that matter. Lets try putting it another way shall we.
If you bought a brand new high spec CAR from a showroom on sunday afternoon and drove it away nice and happy with yourself then came home from work 4 days later to find the manufacturer had been round your house and taken 2 wheels off it and turned it into a motorbike which you dont have a liscence ( skill ) to drive because they thaught it would be cool would you be a bit MIFFED...?????

See, first I don't expect a company to be nice to me just because I'm a customer. I'm a follower of 'respect and respect alike'. I may be mad at a product I bought at Walmart, but I'm smart enough to realize that it's not the clerks fault.
Even still, though, cursing and screaming shouldn't get anybody anything, and I absolutely HATE that this is the fact in America. It's gotten to the point that temper tantrums and *****es are rewarded, just to shut them up. When in truth, they should be ****ing beaten. If you want to be respected, show respect in kind.
I have the same approach when it comes to video games. First, my experience always seems to be different than others claim theirs are. I get my petitions answered promptly. I rarely have issues. I don't cuss at customer support, and I don't give them a hard time.
If I'm unhappy with a service and the company I am working with has a policy of not refunding for changes, etc ... I take my money elsewhere.
It's all about the policy. CCP very clearly does not refund or revert skills, equipment, implants, time ... especially when due to system changes. It's their policy. Just like some stores don't allow you to return their goods, or others will do a return but only for the item.
If you don't like the companies policy, patronize someone else. I mean, sure, tell them you don't like it ... but use the appropriate channels.
And as always, if your going to lose your temper and act like an ass, be responsible about it. Recognize that your probably going to get treated like a boob and hushed and shushed and talked down to or ignored. Cause that's what you do with babies who throw tantrums. Despite them being a company, they are still human, and they DONT have to put up with your actions, just like you don't have to put up with theirs.

Nothing was changed to Liquid Crystal Magnifiers. That subsystem hasn't been touched. What was changed was "Convergent Beam Focuser" to "Assault Optimizations". You say "Legion Offensive" but...that's the prefix in front of uh...all Legion Offensive subsystems. For a ship you paid around 5 Billion ISK for, you don't seem to know much about it.
If it's the case that you once had a "Convergent Beam Focuser" and now have an "Assault Optimization" just sell one and buy the other. The sooner the better, because each day people are paying less for them.
All ships in Eve evolve over time and new ships are frequently the focus of rebalancing. Given the nature of Tech III, this was even more true. If you have billions of ISK to be an early bird purchaser in an emerging market then you should be the sort of player who has been around long enough to know this simple fact. Alternatively, you're either being naive, or you didn't acquire that ISK through the sort of experience and time that would have helped you avoid this situation in the first place.

Well at last a response which may be able to help or at least be of some significant help. Thank you my friend as i was told that i would have to destroy the rig by 2 other people in local and didnt realise you could just swap them thats what i flipped my lid at. Thats all i was looking for was a sensible bit of advice.

You have enough cash to drop 4.5 billion on a legion. I'm guessing that means you've got a little something in your pocket left to play with.
Go buy something else and play with it till your patch clears up. Chances are that you'd just be griefed/hunted flying that thing around right now anyway.
