Barth Evader Amarr THE FINAL STAND	Posted - 2009.04.19 17:16:00 - [17] TFS was roaming in cruisers in tama area, got word of Dead Terrorists camping in Hagilur with a Thanatos on gate. We came to assist The United battleship gang knowing that more caps will be involved if we engage. As our gang formed on the Thelan gate in Miro, their battleship gang landed on the other side and cyno'd in 2 carriers. Knowing the napfest they had sorted and capable of jumping in 30+ caps, we jump and the fight is on. One of their carriers goes into triage. The United jumps in a couple carriers and one dread to even it up. Up to this point this is a great fight with the triage carrier in trouble. Another cyno goes up and and hostile carriers begin jumping in. The United cyno's in 2 more carriers and a dread to even it up. 10 hostile dreads and 10 carriers are on the field. With The United moros and phoenix going into siege again the hostile triage carrier goes down. At this point the outcome is known with 20 hostile caps against 5 and equal battleship numbers. Our gang jumped into this fight knowing the likely scenario to come. It was a good fight for the first 20 minutes until the second cyno went up. gf

United engaged DT with a 20 man BS fleet vs DT BS+2 Triage Carriers and got wasted. At this point United come back in some caps+support. DT s0s. We all jump in caps and pile in. DT Carrier is already in Triage when we land on grid and is tanking ok until he burns out a rep (derp). By this point there's about two dozen friendly caps on grid and 5 united caps are downed, 1 escapes. PS Barth, get your guys to unfix their sec status. My alt is now below -2.0 because he pk'd a load of TFS drones with his smarties.

We had an opportunity to pull off that gate and go home long before we threw caution to the wind and decided "wtf lets just do it for a fight". You could learn something from this if you had done more than just gank noobs on a gate all day. There's no glory in having your most used ship on your kill boards a Heavy Interdictor (obvious gate campers) TFS were in t1 cruisers as we were out on a roam. They were still effective and tend to have more dps with how well trained our chars are than most of Heretic's BS pilots. That smartbomb fit hyperion pilot sitting alone at a gate wasn't scared to fight after a long day of killing 230 shuttles and 120 noobships.
