Welcome (in advance) to "The Great White North"!!
You might want to think about downgrading your video card, the heat from the really decent ones will play hell with your igloo. ------- Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience. |

There are a fair number of us in the GTA area and we have pretty regular meets. There hasn't been one in a while so if Rutoo or Alex Under doesn't get one organized, I will. Keep an eye on the gatherings forum --

Most of the recently built and all the new buildings downtown have fiber managed by Telus. We don't have a choice of providers but I'm not complaining. 5 mins to DL a movie is fine by me.
Also, it is unlimited.

Welcome to Canada... Though I'm not sure what that is anymore.
We've been taken over by liberals that too often allow the vocal minority to push their personal agendas onto the rest of us by wrapping their complaints in the farce that is "Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms."
I'm happy to have people want to come here, but don't step off the boat and start *****ing about our country. If where you came from is so much better, then get back on your boat and go home.

You have to be reading that wrong. That means you have a 120 Mbps line. Noone is offering a 120 Mbps line for $35 in canada. Shaw offers at 25 Mbps line for about $90 and Telus offers a 15 Mpbs line for $55. Telus has some fiber lines in some locations but i'm not sure what their price is.

24 euros/month here for 100/10 megs. No caps, no bandwidth limitations, and you get that bandwidth for real.

There are a handful or so in my corp. Several in the Primary. alliance.
And I'm sure many many more :)
So you'll have no problems :)
