I had to dump the mission since I couldn't find the completion item on the market, but as was pointed out, this is an intended game mechanic and not petitionable. My suggestion is, "don't get mad, get even". Follow these simple steps: Make note of the involved parties Pass their names on to your corpmates and alliancemates Your corp/alliance decides to wardec their corp/alliance Blow them up repeatedly Listen to them cry and moan in local Sit back and smile You'll have to join a player run corp to make this work, but the end result will be very satisfying. Trust me, this works every time.

It sucks but the game allows for determined players to enter your mission and take the items you need to finish it just to grief you. The item in question is from a heron ship, it is unlocked after all npcs are dead, just like an acceleration gate. Anyone can take from it. You do not get kill rights if someone else takes it. You need this to hand the mission in. However, once the npcs are dead the mission is marked as complete, so it wont respawn after dt. Basically you can steal this and not get any agression what-so-ever. Im all for the destruction of carebears, however, they should be able to defend themselves if they are smart/organized enough. In this case thats a no, its a broken game mechanic that should be fixed. As far as GMs go, EVE will give you either a great one, or a horrible one, there doesn't seem to be too much in between. I guess it depends on how fresh the coffee is that day. I have had GMs give me info I know was completey wrong, and others explain mechanics in detailed manner that made clear sense. Overall I would say they do a good job with the tools they have to work with. Perhaps CCP should look into reformating the system somewhat. Its been backlogged since the Dragon patch, that a while.
