In 0.0 it's an entirely different matter, as they will either be fitted with a huge buffer (to tackle for fleets) or a huge passive tank (to tackle for small gangs).

I have a drake thar can tank 3 BS's with pretty low SP needed. So there is no way a rifter can break a passivly tanked onyx of a 40+mill toon. Nice story to spite the fact that it could have never happened.

But from what I got from the story he was 50% armor by the time he killed the first ship and there wasnt even time to dent his tank. Nice try buddy.

I've seen people brag about their EFT Drake/Onyx/Vulture/Nighthawk tanks that could tank the zombie apocolypse but have seen them die all the same because the pilots are total muppets. Nullsec is a total different kettle of fish, there may not be sentries but there are blobs and no matter how awesome your tank is, a gang of frigates will kill you. A Pirates Perspective

First he was going on about how we couldn't catch him in our rifters because he kept warping in at moons etc, then we catch him and he starts bragging how we cant break his tank and hes just going to log off and disappear, we broke him pretty quick because I had a cane docked in a station in system, but i regret picking it up now because I think we could have popped him almost as quick with just the frigs for more laughs :( also, about taking someone down with you. My best fights are when I die, but kill more expensive ** before popping :D (rifter vs blob including stealth bombers... stealth bombers pricey paper bags >:-D) Put in space whales!
