As a represetative of a corporation that employs a Corporation Buy/Sell Program, I would like to suggest a Corp/Alliance Market tab in which members of the alliance or corp could put items up for sale or sell in mass, without dealing with the hassle of contracts, for the corporation and or alliance only. I know 0.0 stations have this with limiting the selling to alliance only, but currently there are no implementations in high sec or alliances who are in empire. This would allow easier customization of member's ships due to the easier access to modules and other materials and also, this would allow corp members to get the lower price compared to the normal market. I think it would also cut down on some of the contract scams, since you could get more from trading to your alliance or corp. I realize there is already the contract tab for alliance and corporations, but this would allow ALL goods to move faster increasing the amount to sell instead of wasting 45 minutes doing 60 individual contracts. I heard at one time, there was plans to have a corp store front. If I missed something, then I will gladly shut up.

This plan is very, very good.I believe that a plan of this sort could be very usefull.I see the the point of the corp contracts can be very annoying to the person or persons having to create so many contracts for every item for the corp or alliance.....thank you for posting this ....maybe more will agree this is one good plan, and maybe CCP can help us on this one....maybe

I like this idea. I would like to sell items to the corp at a discount rather than putting stuff on the open market. Contracts are a waste of time. I had been playing for quite a while before I even knew about contracts, and months after that before I found that you can sort it by Corp contracts.

I like the idea and I think it would not be that hard for CCP to implement for High Sec corps. I mean if it is good for 0.0 why can it not be for high sec also. If it is good for one segment why can it not be good for all.

I support this idea as well. But in the short term a slight modification to contracts would really help.
Right now when you adjust a market order it's expire time resets. I imagine most players do as I do and set this time to 90 days.
Now with contracts the max is two weeks -for item exchange. You can't adjust the price and you can't refresh them. This is of course a necessary restriction for auctions. But for all other contracts, if they've not yet been accepted, then the option should exist to at least refresh the date on them, without having to delete the contract, scrounge the stuff back out of your hangar, and rebundle it all again into a new contract. If nothing else ccp could handle this with a behind-the-scenes creation of a new contract, maybe allow tweaking the price, delete the old contract and dump all the stuff directly into the new one, and repost it.
Or better yet, for corp contracts allow the max time to be 1 or 2 months.
Another idea I had involved expanding the API to allow 3rd party or corp/alliance stores. This would have to be handled carefully of course. The idea is this: Corp or Alliance member goes to corps market website. He peruses the selection, makes his choices, and posts his order. The website has a special market API key that allows it to forward this information to the game servers. The game servers create a WTB corp contract out of it, list the items, list the total price given by the website, and post it to the corp. The corp manager in charge of filling these orders, pulls up these contracts in-game, sorts them by date, reviews each one -verifying not only the price, but whether they want that player having THOSE items, and accepts the contract. Corps could have a "market" hangar with all the stuff they wish to sell, and these market contracts would pull the items from this hangar.
This system is secure, only the website has the API key to post market orders, and even so it only creates a contract in game that still needs to be accepted. EVE API would need to send an error code if the order was rejected -ie. contract queue in game is full, order is malformed, or invalid API key. Website would need to close buying or buffer buy orders accordingly.
If the market hangar didn't have some of the requested items, then the whole contract has to wait. There is also added security in that a player trying to buy something he isn't suppose to -well, that item won't be kept in the market hangar so it won't go thru even if a director accidently tries to accept it. And the best thing with this system is it stops corp espionage because all sells are approved -with market orders one bad player could buy out the whole stack.
Now CCP should write this market website app for distribution. Perhaps it could be a plugin for the most popular corp kb/forum software. Corps would now have the ability to track/review their corp sells out of game with no further impact on the game servers. Ideally the app could allow a corp to set purchasing limits -i.e. each player can only purchase max of 3 ships per week, or total buys of a max isk value per week.

What contracts really lack is the possibility of partial buying/selling.
If you put up a contract with 1000 items someone would have to buy all 1000 items. If you put up a market sell order with 1000 items one person could buy 100, another could buy 2 and so forth. In my opinion that is why contracts is not suitable for internal corporation/alliance trading.

Just wanted to say Backdaft, I agree with you also. The API key providing the information for a corp store would be an excellent idea already. I have there have been attempts with this type of store already, but it hasn't been implemented to well. There has also been the bulky system known as contracts to still get around. CCP should see this as a way to get around some of the scams and teach some of the newer players about the market instead of opening to the world of price gouging. Hopefully this feature will be talked about, as I see it working. But, hopefully it won't be as long as some of the features I see on here on implementation.

This would make trading between corp members so much easier, the corp contracts are such a laborious waste of time as with large corps there may not be that many members who bother checking or ever know they are there.

Can't let this die. Perhaps if implemented like killmails but instead updating a corp store with completed contract info, this could be great. My original idea had an in-game store manager doing the final approval for each contract, but perhaps corps should have the option of allowing the corp store to "push" an auto-accept in-game so that these store purchases were near instantaneous.

To makes this traders job, not everyone's. Make this skill based Ex. - Corporate / Alliance trade x3 (8 buy/sell orders lvl) - Corporate / Alliance whole x5 (16 buy/sell orders lvl) - Corporate / Alliance tycoon x8 (32 buy/sell orders lvl)
