If just one of the people who mails me death threats decides to carry through, I could be made literally DEAD IRL and although I have a twin brother I definitely do not have any clones! I propose the following changes to this, the most noblest and hardest of all professions: 1. New Skill: Scamming. Training them lets you hide one decimal per level on a contract. This would let my 950k invul field 2's really look like 950k, but actually still be 950M. 2. New Skill: Scam Projection. Training this allows your contract to pop up, maximised across the screen of 100 people per level. I'm sick of being blocked in local, let me THROW my contract into peoples faces so they get the message that they should be buying MY goods. 3. New Skill: Wallet Syphon. Let me slowly drain the wallets of everyone in local, say 1000isk per person per second. I mean their money is just going to be mine eventually anyway right? This would also help cure the local scam spam and help to ensure people spread out across the galaxy more. When will CCP finally give us hardworking scammers the break we so rightfully deserve? Tear-stained ISK is the best kind of ISK.

We scammers have to deal with so much more then the regular player and subsequently we should be given more tools to deal with it. Tear-stained ISK is the best kind of ISK.

Thank you, it is always nice to see someone who understands the sheer dedication we scammers have to apply to make next to nothing. According to one person who was assualting me in local he makes a billion every morning in under an hour! It takes me roughly 7 hours worth of spamming to make a billion. If I put the effort and (if CCP listens to me) skills into scamming then I should be rewarded at least as well as this guy, 1B an hour. I endorse this product and/or service. This is an issue the PMS (those grouchy people who fly to iceland) really need to raise, preferably before that time of the month.

The real problem isn't the scams, it's the fact that everyone does it and spams local with them, effectively flooding all honest contracts and bringing the contract system every minute to being a platform nobody but the scammers will use. Ofcourse there are people that fall for those scams, be it by accident or stupidity, but that is not the real problem. David Caldera

Brilliant Deduction: When a scam contract is posted in local you immediately send SCAM to the chatbox. As levels increase the size of the SCAM entry grows larger, maybe starts to flash at level 5. 2. Block Announcement: When a scam is posted you inform everyone in local automatically about how you are going to block this scammer and that your block list is already soooo fulll. At level 5 it could auto-block people posting scam contracts for 30mins. 3. Fund Recuperation: After falling for a scam you automatically mail the scammer once per level of this skill, begging for your isk back and explaining that it was your son/daughter/pet that pressed accept, not you. 4. Minimiser: Lets you minimise the chat window. Tear-stained ISK is the best kind of ISK.

So the problem lies not with the game, but with people breaching the EULA. Even if this is a troll, as unrealistic those skills appear. If they were ever implemented, everyone would just stop using contracts thus killing the contract scam market. Jita Local Thread <- I doubt the guys at the top of that list are just of the chatty kind. Ban trial accounts from local, or give us a option to block all trial accounts with one click, this would filter out spammers using recyclable characters to run their macros and give more room to the players whom are actually at the keyboard watching a movie or playing on another character.

I think it's funny how there are pages of post for a little joke Delphi did. Either way, scamming is a profession, and people are getting better at it. I tend to find a scammer, and flag him as red via standings. Never again will I talk to him or his corp.

In-game skills should never replace the player's own sensibility where purchase decisions are concerned. Some players voluntarily finance their own exploits in Eve via GTC's. It's getting quite ridiculous and in the hub chats it's only a fraction of the contracts linked that are actual legit ones. The spam has become an issue and I hope that CCP will be dealing with it. I'm convinced that many are using 3rd party macro software to spam their chat messages.
