Allthough in series and movies they always seem to have a way to detect cloaked ships. Would be a idea to have the ability to detect cloaked ships if there were within a few km and have essitimate of where the cloaked ship is. But its fine how it is this way i can come into your system without to much trouble and keep all carebears docked in the station for hours on end while i just go off to work. And agreed remove local from 0.0.

That could be a nice solution, if you have the luxury of semi-AFK combat pilots hanging around in that system and ready to respond; but even if you do, the cost of defending against it (having combat pilots ready whenever anyone wants to do anything, and suspending any operation that involves anything that will die before the combat pilots can respond) is still a lot more than the cost of doing it (parking a ship at a safe and going to work or whatever). I don't think that leads to interesting gameplay, but boring gameplay. It's not interesting to be a combat pilot standing by tied to the game because someone cloaked might attack but probably won't. It's boring, and if it's boring then it's probably bad gameplay.
