I don't think a non-alliance character cares about most conflicts. God knows no one outside of alliances read this cesspool for the most part. I think an average player may keep abreast of whats going on by ISD news or other splash screen updates. I know super-cap kills tend to make it to eve general, but outside of that I think we delude ourselves on the interest level of our never ending war(s). If you're not involved in it, why would you keep track of something that will likely run years? It's more fun to be in the middle of it all, blowing **** up instead of on the sidelines watching the action, imo. I think I would play something else if all of a sudden all conflicts were ended and the entire game were in the same Hello Kitty online guild, oh wait nm.

Hey everyone, don't worry, Kenzoku fuels their tower with morale and honour; move their capitals with 'good attitudes' and replace losses with their vast wealth. No ISK is required in this conflict for the next few years. The grunts on the field are replacing their battleships and thus money is no issue! *
*Ignore the fact that they have no moon income; that they are spending more than they are taking in fueling and placing towers; that they haven't been anchoring modules because their logistics guys are burnt ou; that we are seeing less and less faction items and more T1 gear on players and that much of their wealth was invested in supercap production etc. and we destroyed it.

It's pretty clear RKZ is running on fumes at this point. If they really have trillions of ISK in the bank, why didn't they just pay AAA to compensate for their R64 losses and hold on to I1Y this weekend?
Molle tells his ladies to be patient and wait us out, but they're just not going to have the cash to stay in this fight much longer.

Looks like you magnificent neckbeards pulled it off. I1Y is secure. Xttz may yet be happy, and we may yet manage to turn ED and I1Y into a Sov4 fortress against the KenZoku incursion.
This update is succinct regarding I1Y. What remained of hostile towers there have been destroyed - save for the last one, which will produce a delicious killmail for us in twelve minutes from the moment I write this. RKZ resistance today was a regroup to flee the system. We mocked them as we destroyed their stragglers, so desperate to escape the system which was once supposed to be the site of Molle's grand resurgence. I1Y is ours, and it is good.
But we are not done, nor ready to rest on our laurels. Now we find ourselves in exactly the same spot we did some four weeks ago, after the hellpurge of H74 - RKZ running before us, their participation shot, our spirits high. Then, we surged into 49 and exhausted ourselves in a night of nonstop sieging of a single system, then were too tired to close the deal. Now, we have learned from our errors. This time, we will twist the knife slowly, rather than slamming headfirst into a brick wall.
KenZoku has one R64 in 5V. We will take it. KenZoku has sov3 systems, such as 1-SMEB in Delve and several in Querious. We will seize them for ourselves. KenZoku's pets have littered this critical region with hundreds of towers with which they had hoped to snap our bridges. We will burn them down. By the time we are ready to assault 49, Querious will be a field of smoldering ashes, the shattered remains of Molle's dreams.
Already, you have begun to make the Great Querious Purge a reality. Not content to simply wait in I1Y, our capitals have begun roaming in great hordes, just as in the Great Delve Purge. Frontal Impact's towers in ZXJ were hit. KenZoku's towers in 4-2 were hit. The -A- staging tower in LS- was hit. The Skunk-Works spam of W6V, sieged. Finfleet's incessant spam of P4, as well.
This time, we will not expend ourselves in a single night of extreme effort. We will be taking this region apart through sustained work, without burning out. We will keep our eyes on the prize: KenZoku's failure cascade, and the tears and suffering this will inspire from the nineteen alliances of failures carrying their banner.
Pace yourselves, goons. You have done a great thing, an amazing thing - if you need to take a breather, do so. But each day there is carnage to be had and work to be done. Victory is at hand within two months at the earliest - no sooner. Keep that in mind.

I was hoping I was mentioned there, I am certain I was in the original draft, or maybe the second or third one. I like how words like 'succinct' and 'purge' are used, reminds me of the last campaign in Warcraft III,.. I dont mind it, just saying its pretty crappy sounding way too similar to Warcraft campaign characters but I guess its been the style for Goons for a while now, ah well.

Maybe I'm not privvy to something here.....but are you really picking on the use of "succinct" and "purge?" Those are english words....and not terribly uncommon ones at that. Was this campaign you speak of the first time those words were used on the internet? Cause if so, I'll back off, but otherwise, I feel like you may be grasping at straws.

Their, selves, etc etc.
You're applying the use of "we" to too narrow of a scope. "We" does not mean "Just goons" it means "we" as in "The Coalition." I understand semantics are difficult, but it pays to learn it.

Again, if RKZ is sitting on piles of cash, why didn't they just compensate -A- for their moon income for the month to keep them in the fight in I1Y. For a mere 12B, they could have held on to I1Y, broken sov, and secured a logistics route to empire.
We've noticed them being very shy to engage unless they're sure of a victory. Some people suggest this is because they're too prideful to risk letting their k/d ratio drop. I think they really just can't afford to lose many ships these days.

everyone claiming that the anti-bob coalition means that "no new people can ever gain a foothold in 0.0" are idiots because the only reason the massive coalition formed in the first place was because bob ran around picking fights with everyone without bothering to finish them off
it's no secret that when the war is "won" by whatever definition that the central players will probably reset each other for the purposes of ~good fights~ and if anyone new were to mess with one of them its unlikely that the others would care enough to intervene (unless of course it was ex-bob members) because they wouldn't have that same grudge against them ~ |

No it hasnt. And I care. I joined the game because of this war. Ive been following the recap thread on the City of Heroes forum now since this war started. I still check back every day because its the only place ive found to offer a legible overview of the situation.
This war can go on for another 4 months and Id still be very interested in it.
IMO you suck at judging what others think. In fact you should probably just stop doing that all together.

Finally, a decent statement from a Goon but... If your refering to the MAX campain, BoB was well set and needing a challenge, and if memory serves me correct, Red Alliance was the first target of this, and it was because they were the strongest challenge out of everyone in EVE at the time, thats not picking a fight, its not gaining Sov, its just challenging yourselves.

he was talking about stuff that occurred long before MAX, also lol at RA being particularly strong when MAX started, they barely put up any resistance and immediately failure cascaded - this was after they'd recently lost several of their strongest corps and best FCs to longstanding internal issues that had them divided for many months before
