I never attack my NPC-pirate-friends and my corp and me killed tons of the people that hunt the NPC-groups and masskill them everyday. The NPC-rats should LOVE Tundragons and other pirate corps - especially players with security status -10!!! These little NPC-N00bs should really look up to their big player-brothers that come and help them to take out 0.0-invading alliances. But no - they seem to be too stupid to see who is friend and who is foe.
I would like to have NPC-rats as "high" AI as Concord has. My and my corps standing to npc-rat-fractions should be very good - except we would attack them. With every Norad, PA, CA or FA we kill these guys should start to love us more and more. They should ******* try to join our corp!!! Give Šem and the 200-300 player-pirates in game some love.

No, we can attack them and the standind should lower dramatical if we attack them. But tell me why a little npc-cruiser-rat should attack you instead of asking you to join TDG??? No really - why should they attack one of us??? Do we steal their Ore 24/7??? No, we defend it!!!
If i kill a Black Nova Corp-member that has a -10 standing to a npc-fraction, my standing to this npc-fraction should rise. This npc-fraktion should notice after time that we help to keep the belts clean. Once we killed more player-alliance-members then their whole fraktion, these npcs should really love us!!!

Why? I would never scam my npc-rat-friends! I donŠt even attack them! They attack me and donŠt notice that i am friendly to them! PvP Pirate corps should not be attacked by certain NPC Pirates with that said the angels and the serpentis (for instance) dont like each other so if i am hated by the serpentis the Angels might like me and the moment i turn a miner on in a angel area my standings should drop with the Angels (to prevent the aliance players from not being attacked by NPC)
either way its proberly to much coding and thats why the NPC attacks everyone even their own kind

They are pirates. Pirate groups dont become 'friends' with other pirates unless they really, really want to. Your plan isnt realistic.

No no! They should immidiatly attack if someone with good standind steals ore! Look at the description of the npcs - they defend the roids. This does not mean that they attack other roid-defenders but this means they will attack everybody touching the roids.

I like the idea about letting the pirate NPC factions reconise friend from enemy, but I think it should be based on corp standing and not sec status. I bet there's many people (both players and NPC) with a neg sec rating who the pirate factions don't like.
Another thing I'm speculating in from a RP perspective is if people will be allowed to place POS in pirate sovereignty when they don't have a positive rating the pirates. As there's plenty of stations in these areas already I don't see the need for POS either.
And when did the big pirate war happen? I remember that some months ago all the pirate factions were friendly to eachother, but now the picture has changed completely. Were there ever any news on why? I wonder what people would say if the 4 major empires suddenly changed standings towards eachother with out reason what so ever.

I'm a miner and ever I can see thats bad for the game. For it to work, there would have to be more variety in what you run into. sorry had to get the teasing in there you are of course right though
if i was liked by the Serpentis (wich i am not) i should be able to pass by their ships and use their stations and they should not attack me UNLESS i start mining their rocks (that should be like me killing a player in 1.0) when i start minin g i should be (in lack of a better word) be criminally flagged against their faction and they would attack me (15 minute timer and all that) the closer you are to their HQ the stronger rats should be sent against me
as someone else said though it should be faction not the sec status that should be the judge and you should take a faction hit if you mine their rock also the sentry's at NPC Pirate stations should (if they dont already) open fire if someone like me (known anti-pirate and hated by the serpentis) got close enough to them
please note this is not a attempt to make mining safer nor a attempt to make life easyer for us Pirate hunters just to make it more logical for the pirates (and maybe a little safer for the pirates as they can warp in during a spawn and not worry about the NPC attacking them)

Agent text: We've been having some filthy miners in our belts again. I want you to go out to belt V-3 and defend it from all incursions for the next hour! While you're at it, can you hold this Miner I and this Basic Damage Control in your cargo hold? My hangar is being fumigated.
Objective: 1) Attempt to defend belt V-3 from incursions 2) Be destroyed attempting Objective 1.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: You must be carrying the following in your cargo hold upon your ships destruction: 1 - Miner I 1 - Basic Damage Control

Hm, i liked the "speaking" npcs in the wing commander series...

Hm, i liked the "speaking" npcs in the wing commander series...
My favorite radio message was "Die fureball!". How where these mad fanatics in "WC Privateer" called? "Retros"??? They always radioed:"Die by the weapons you adore!"

Objective: 1) Attempt to defend belt V-3 from incursions 2) Be destroyed attempting Objective 1.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: You must be carrying the following in your cargo hold upon your ships destruction: 1 - Miner I 1 - Basic Damage Control
REWARDS: Upon your ships destruction, you will be rewarded with the following: 1 - Sansha noob frigate 1 - Civilian Gatling Laser 1 - Same dang mission all over again
BONUS REWARDS: Be destroyed within 45 minutes and you will be rewarded with the following: 10 isk.

Hey, what would you think of us if we would camp gates without warpscramblers???
But my question to CCP is serious! Why do NPC-rats attack me? i have a -10 concord standing and never hunted these npcs. I toasted a lot of miners that steal their ore and killed a lot of npc-farmer-massmurderers. I never touched their roids (hm 1-2 x ). These npc-rats should notice that i am very friendly to them.

Yea, it should be that below .5 is safer for pirates, and above .5 is not safe. I agree. It would make a lot more sense to be a pirate killing empire factions and have some different reward system like better loot. Its kinda boring having to have everyone on one side of the law.
