Here's a little story about probably the worst pirates I've ever seen. After a fun night with a great rr bs fight, some gate camping and then just chilling in station and flying around looking for stuff to kill we find a 3 months old character ratting in a dominix. We quickly get people on the scene, point and webs and he's going down quick as you would expect from a new player in a battleship. We decide to cease fire and order him to eject from his ship if he wants to save his pod and finally he ejects so I go dock up my ship, undock in a capsule and warp to the belt.
When I drop out of warp I see the dominix is gone and ask if someone else in the gang already boarded it, and suddenly the other guys are shocked and wondering WTF just happened with the domi because he's not in belt anymore. A minute later our scout in the next door hisec system reports the dominix pilot had just jumped in and is warping away in his ship. Looks like my other gang members had dropped their points and didn't realise the guy had re-boarded his ship instead of warping away

I was heartily amused when I heard of this... I then proceded to cause substantial anal cha***e to those involved.

OK, I'm sitting here wondering if the guy knows what he did... for example, did you tell him to eject to save his pod and that you were going to take the ship?
Maybe he just thought you wanted him to eject for LOLs... so he ejected, then re-boarded his ship 30 seconds later and warped off completely oblivious to the fact that he wasn't SUPPOSED to get back in his ship

He came back into system today but was a bit more conservative in his low-sec endeavors.
