Logit Probit	Posted - 2009.05.24 00:42:00 - [1] Three months ago, I returned to EvE after being away for a year, determined to try out highsec piracy. I spent a month seeking out and learning from the best of the best; virtual Obi-Wans of griefing. Two months ago, I started putting together my own small, informal association of ninja-salvagers/looters. I recruited mainly from the denizens of this channel. Our operations over the last 60 days have been relatively successful; I've been keeping track, and I thought that those of you who have participated might be interested in seeing the compiled results of our efforts. Destroyed: Abaddon (2) Apocalypse (1) Brutix (2) Damnation (1) Dominix (24) Drake (1) Hyperion (6) Ishtar (1) Maelstrom (2) Megathron (8) Megathron Navy Issue (5) Myrmidon (2) Raven (4) Raven Navy Issue (6) Rohk (1) Sacrilege (1) Vindicator (1) Ransomed: Hyperion (1) Megathron Navy Issue (1) Self-destructed: Hyperion (1) Maelstrom (1) Megathron (1) Ejected (LOL!): Dominix (1) Our losses: Arbitrator (3) Exqueror (1) Heron (1) Vexor (1) Carebear ISK destroyed or ransomed: 18.2 billion ISK Total estimated ISK recovered by carebears via insurance: 4.2 billion ISK Total ISK taken away from carebears: 14 billion ISK (This doesn't include all the ISK we made from wrecks while ninja-salvaging/looting. I have no freaking idea how much that would add up to, but I imagine it's quite a bit.) Over the summer and the next semester, I'm going to have to scale back my playtime extensively in preparation for my prelim exams. I just want to thank all of the aforementioned Obi-Wans (you know who you are) and my bros in the "Salv. Assn." channel who have helped me extract all those carebear tears. I hope you gentlemen keep up the good (bad?) work in my relative absence, and I look forward to re-joining you on a more consistent basis at the end of the fall.

WTF ? Congrats Tzest0r, you have achieved two feats! First, you managed to lose 3 triple-rigged domis within less than an hour. No one else has ever died more than twice to our little group. Kudos! Second, you managed to take out something bigger than a cruiser en route to losing your own ship! Too bad it was just a suicide torp raven with no rigs and full insurance. An associate, "Ozzy", was in Tzest0r's mission ninja-looting/salvaging. Tzest0r warps off and leaves system. He comes back a minute later in a triple-trimarked PvP domi and tries to attack Ozzy. We blow him up. We scoop his loot and dock up. A few minutes later he's back in system, waiting for us to undock outside the station in another Domi. We figure he's probably packing trimarks and neuts again, so the decision is made to try to take him out with suicide torp ravens. We undock and light him up. He's able to pop my gank raven before he goes down. We clean up all the drones and loot. A few minutes later we see him in system again. I warp back to his mission in a Pilgrim, and there he is on the entrance gate. We kill him again; this time, his domi is mission-fit, with reppers and 3 CCC rigs. He was pretty stoic about the first two losses, but he was bawwwwwing up a storm in local after that third loss. He apparently isn't aware of the nuances of aggro mechanics and remote repping.

Sunday was actually our worst day ever in terms of losses, but also our best day in terms of raw number of ships destroyed.
