Is it possible to get Pith, Gist, Gisti, Calderi Navy, etc. modules on the fittings list for EFT? Just curious if I can make some setups on EFT to test before spending god knows how much to make them in-game.

Yes - at the bottom of the left hand column you can click on market, faction, complex or commander (when available). |

Yes you can. Below the list where you choose what Meta level (T1 - Namned - T2) there's four buttons. Market - Faction - Complex - Commander
Some mods do not have these options. Some do howewer, so when you want to try say Phiti X-type Shield booster. You have to choose the Complex button. This button do not reset, so when changing to a mod type that do not have a complex version, you have to press the Market button, if you don't do this the list will be empty.

There's a lot of useful stuff in eft that is somewhat hard to find. For example dragging mods onto the "projected effects" tab of ships, right clicking on scan res to get lock times for specific ships, the dps graph. Correct use of the dps graph in particular is amazingly useful, basically the next best thing to actual combat testing.

Actually, everything is dead simple and intuitive. Might want to spend less time playing games and more time studying kid.

Yes, finding features you don't even know to look for is very intuitive... 0/10
