I just put Fedora 11 64-bit on a new quad core. Having a few probs getting mine to work this time too.
1) Regular installer that downloads always fails checksum - workaround is to download the full version. 2) After installing full version, trying to decypher exactly what a general error is and why it has no details ;)

Works like a charm w/fonts added. With KDE's "fullscreen" mode for windowed EVE clients the game experience is even better than in Windows. I prey Dominion don't screw it up.
Sidenote. I wonder how many Wine/Linux users hide in the WinXP bar in this diagram (at bottom)?

Various. Various versions and distros. Slackware to run EVE. Main dev box. Slackware. Etch and and Lenny installs for support.
Ohh, and a custom linux I put together from source for a very old seimens laptop someone gave me, because I had to install it from 1.44 floppies and it has an odd chipset - and Windows ME pre-installed (Gaaaaaaa!). So I rescued it.
I have linux pride. And love. Definitely love.
