Kazuo Ishiguro House of Marbles Zzz	Posted - 2009.06.04 21:54:00 - [1] The rules are as follows: say in which month (and year) you think the next QEN will be published, and how much you want to bet on that month. Send me your bet (with a confirming evemail please) and I'll update the list with new totals. Other stuff: Details of individual bets will remain private. Betting on multiple months is allowed. The minimum bet increment is 10m isk. There is no house take. CSM members are welcome to attempt to abuse their access to insider information. The date that counts is the one at the top of the dev blog announcing the next QEN, like this one. High field is July 2010. Bets on or after this month count as a single option in the pool. Once the next QEN is published, the pool will be paid out to all those who chose the right month, in proportion to the amount they each bet on that month. I've started things off by putting 90m up for grabs.

Or are we just quessing the next time one will be published period. I only ask, cause if it is betting on seeing when 2nd quarter for 2009 QEN is going to come out, my bet is NEVER.

So it appears it did get published june 2009 skipping the 'in between' ones.

The 'next' QEN would be the one after Q1 2009 regardless of for which quarter it is. The entire point of the betting pool is that the next one might not appear next quarter (or is likely not to). One question though, what happens to the pool if noone wins?
