Not that mad, just defending the game(s) they like.
However some give out some details without refining it as to how many players play this or that.
EVE is still the only game, ran by the only game company that was nuts enough to try this, on 1 single server cluster.
As any proper MMO should be.
In the end I think that is the main reason why I am still here, one cluster to rule them all!
Who needs television when you have EVE?

Irony is, for me anyway, that when d3 servers were down and I tried to play EVE, none of my skills would load, local was all ****** up, and the game was unplayable. Restarted the client and logged back in three times, was still all ****** up.
It's fine now, but so is d3. |

Yeah guys, let's make fun of the game that set the new PC game pre-order world record, which coincidentally focuses on pve (aka "something we're terrible at"). And this coming from a company that has had multi-day downtimes after patch releases.
Meanwhile, the EVE player count dips five thousand people on the hour that D3 went live, and hasn't recovered since.
Hurry up and add the pvp flag already, so I can give someone else my money. |

Well the boot.ini was bigset CCP fail ever but remember EvE code is damn complicated, diablo engine code compared to EvE code is like drop in the ocean, EvE is true MMO, diablo is only h&s + online connection service.

Then the servers went down for D3 for half an hour so I chatted a bit in EVE. Then the D3 servers came back up and I went back to D3. Pretty simple process of playing games if you ask me. Not sure why the scrubs on the D3 forums are trying to even compare D3 with EVE anyway. Two totally different games. Like someone over there said...

I took it as a joke saying players log in because Diablo 3 is down I thought it was very funny. If they actually did it to troll as some suggest (which I do not believe for a second,) then they are stupid. I mean Blizzard could have done an error related promo for EVE for 9 years and most likely do it for 9 years more. So I think people need to just see it for what it is, funny! |

...Now, if only Blizzard was up to par, and post something on that tune when yet another patch (such as an aptly named infernal one looming on the near horizon...) fails to deliver for days on end, or bricks your machine, or fails to repair, or fails to download, or reset your settings once more, etc., I'll be a really happy panda!

The last few expansion rollouts have been pretty smooth IIRC?
