Am i the only person who thinks this is getting rather old? Or are the "kid/younger" players of CA loving the fact they can shoot stuff without it shooting back.
I realise we are at war with CA but surely even they must see how dishonourable it is to shoot an unarmed man in the back.. IsnĘt it just cowardice?
Im talking of course about the mining op's in omist and the continued attacks upon them, i don't personally see the strategic value on attacking these ops which would tell me only one thing, people are looking for easy gibs?
Im in emp researching myself so it doesn't effect me directly & i have no doubt i'm going to get torpedoed for starting this thread but im curious to hear what people have to say about the situation

Not a strategic advantage when it comes to many omist corps, most miners down here are dedicated to just that.. Needless to say due to the appending Shiva release we are not short of cash and are/will be prepared for a long time to come before needing to find further resources.
I completely understand the principle and i understand about tactics involved, but this is an extremely different situation.
Also the attacks themselves are random and it would seem on occasions very un-organised, that would not say strategy to me?

Edited by: Syncros on 16/09/2004 20:27:04 Mining ops do involve hauling across multiple systems, although escorts are a possibility i do not believe it to be a necessary and appropriate use of resources..
I'm not going to ***** any longer anyway as im not effected and it's not in my jurisdiction, but i kept hearing about various attacks that are happening and was curious as to what others had to say, i personally don't see how ca playing "shadow games" (logging on/off constantly & "hit & running") is of any tactical advantage what so ever as ships & resources are quickly replaced . If anyone could experience what is happening down here i'm sure you would share the same views. Sorry if people think im being ignorant but it's only my opinion

Due to security issue's i can't revial or discuss to much.. But these attacks won't go un noticed and if anything it has woken people up to the threat that is indeed apparent.

I merely asked for peoples comments and thoughts, since the ca invasion i think you will find that 100% of our corp has been completely dedicated to the war effort and they should not in any respect be held responcible for my actions, i do not deny the meaning of war nor do i deny the past between our factions. I've apologised for this topic being posted and at the time didn't realise the damage that was potentially possible, i was also not aware of the manner of which situations like this were to be dealt with so i again apologise to everyone for this thread
