Lagsta Wraith.Wing Aggression.	Posted - 2009.06.16 15:44:00 - [1] So I was playing around on Google Earth the other day and I started finding eve ships loitering around the world, how odd. Abaddon at Vegas Airport Avatar over Rome Hulk flying over the Statue of Liberty Nyx checking out Paris Thorax visiting Sydney Harbour Since the new preview window has come out we now know how big all the ships and stations are in eve. But it's nice to know your Hulk is 660m long but unless you've got something 660m long to compare it to (even I'm not that big) it makes it hard to visualise. So I've ruled some lines in Google Earth to get the exact measurements and placed the ships on top. Enjoy the pics, I might make some more later on if you really want.

I've always wondered how an Eve ship would look in our world. However, can you make them at somewhat of an angle, or multiple angles? Looking top-down doesn't really show the altitude, especially on the huge ships.

That's about as accurate as I can make it.

Very close, but not exactly. I think in the ship charts made the scale was measured from the model file. EVE Online Ship Chart - Apocrypha Edition Edit: Oh, on the very lower left of the ship chart you can see the Eiffel Tower from Paris(, France) for scale.

So far I'm doing: Domi over Delhi Archon over Melbourne Something sitting over the golden gate bridge, camping it ofcourse. Some smaller ships like frigs.

Though I don't know how much effort this is for you What ships I can't see for real I use the preview window for, but it's not very good lighting in the preview so it can be a real pain in the arse to see where the ship end and the background starts when I'm cutting them out.
