That moral equivalency is not valid. Moral equivalency with political correctness while a convenient justification, is not the issue here. Hate speech, bigotry, and racism are the issue. Equating some silly notion of changing changing words to have seemingly a less caustic meaning is drastically different from hate speech. I personally think most political correctness is nonsense. Stereotyping and prejudicial speech however lead to much greater problems. To the individual who spouted on about how much of a racist they truly are, and thank their corp they can stand them, it is those that say nothing that you may be offending, or are simply as bigoted as yourself. Also Racism/hate speech is not limited to any one group or ethnicity, nor did anyone here even remotely imply that to be the case. Your paranoia seems to help feed your biogtry.

During Bush we got an illegal war, during Obama we are getting a Caldari State (sorry, could not avoid the comparison). So imagine if this "tool" becomes useful in EVE and CCP, afraid of being called insensitive, gets overzealoous about it. Might as well have a high-slot "Accuse of racis" module that instantly blows up the opponent and shuts down their account for 10 days. In American politics the accusation is already the ultimate "I WIN" button that has done much to destroy liberty and bankrupt a nation, so why worry about a virtual space ship? Thats certainly a good point. In fact,here in the US,not only do people us the brand of racism to smear those that dont agree with their policies,racists themselves have learned that its actually effective to call people a racist. Are you a black man that complains because you have had several run ins with the police that call you a n&*(%#? Your a black racist that hates whites. Are you a hispanic that suggests that your life experience dealing with discrimination gives you a unique perspective on how bad it really can be that white people never having experienced it) might not have? Your a racist that hates white people. That is not entirely true, if I see some one call some one a "stupid *** *got" and then go burn a cross on their lawn. That person is a bigot, I doubt any one can argue that he isn't. And I think you'll note that I have conistantly differed to the less emotionally charged, yet still accurate word of bigot. I think this should clue you into the fact that I'm not the target of any on the bigotry yet given as an example. I still recognize when something is wrong, and don't feel inhibited by peer pressure to say that something is in fact wrong.
