Sweet. I just picked up COD4 a month ago and am loving the online action. Will drop by later tonite if there are some people to shoot at.  |

Hint: non-idiots tend to use cover occasionally, and on softcore, tend to use that annoying extra-HP perk. On softcore, sniper rifles kill in one hit if you're lucky. On hardcore, sniper rifles kill in one hit through two cars and a brick wall, no matter what perks the target has. And since you don't need the stopping power perk to get a one-hit-kill, you can take overkill and bring a secondary weapon so you aren't helpless at close range.
Pfffft.. Softcore, hardcore, medium well core it doesn't matter when a SAW with grip/penetration/damage perks along with a player who knows all the corridor routes is on the map. Endless airstrikes. |

The only thing in the game that comes near to being annoying for me are airstrikes. Seems like on an open map once someone gets to it then it cycles endlessly so you end up hiding in a building till the map timer runs out as stepping out in the open is pretty much instadeath. Kills from airstrikes really shouldn't count towards even moar airstrikes. Helicopter are ok though as you can quickly duck under something then step back out and shoot it down.

Learn to love the SAW and no matter what map or how many players are on you will always get in the top 10*. 
*intimate knowledge of the maps is essential to achieve this
