Just a short question. Is there a hotkey to unlock a target, like there is a locking hotkey (ctrl+right click(default))?

as far it's not a default function then (just tried it) It does not pop up in the shortcuts menu either, at least the function, that is.

Really? Because it's the quit command. |

It is not listed in the short-cut list, so unless there is an undocumented shortcut, the answer is no. It would definitely be useful, though. |

It's incredibly annoying when you lock something that takes something like 50 seconds to lock and you have to wait till it's locked before you can do anything. |

lol, I knew I explained that badly.
What I mean is when you lock something by accident, you have to put up with sometimes many seconds of waiting for a successful aquired lock before you are allowed to select it to unlock it. |

Edited by: Dirk Magnum on 26/06/2009 07:03:05 I think the first thread I ever started on this forum was a request for an "unlock all" option. Not exactly a hotkey since it'd still use the drop-down menu but I continue to be surprised at how often such a command could be useful for people who PvE with PvP fitted ships in hostile environments.
But yeah holding down control and clicking on an icon of a targeted ship to unlock it would probably be a good way of implementing your idea. |
