Do I really care anymore? Not so much.
He hasn't done anything really amazing for about 20 years. He just lived off of his early success and milked it to the last drop. I don't have a problem with that. I can understand that.
What I do have a problem with was his bat**** crazy life. The bizarre marriage(s); the pedo stories that are just too ****ed up not to have merit (I mean look at Neverland Ranch); just the whole damn thing. There's eccentric, then there's MJ. I mean, it's one thing to say, "Hey, I'm different. I do my own thing." It's another to say that and then do something so out there and obviously "I'm more than a little sick" that even his biggest fans say, "Wait, what?"
So not really a great loss . I do feel sorry for his family, especially his sons, who can't possibly hope for a normal life ever.

Take a look at people responses, I think you'd be a little off too if you were in his position.

I would like to say i'm sorry, but i'm not. I would like to say that I liked his music, but I didn't.
When Elvis died the music died, when Lennon died the love died, when Hendrix and Joplin died the wildness died, when Ian Dury died the poetry died, when Joe Strummer died punk died.... and nothing has happened since.
When Jackson died nothing happened.

I used to like MJ's music when I was a child. Then I grew up and didn't like it anymore. Last thing I liked from him was probably Scream's video (and how the music was mixed.) TBH, Kurt's Cobain death meant more for me. But MJ was important for a lot of people. He was a notable figure. So we'll see a lot about him in the following days. ----

All that he achieved real or imagined means nothing, he f**ked kids, that's what he'll be remembered for, h1tler turned Germany around from depression and internal turmoil and made it a European power house, but we'll just ignore the deliberate mass murder coz u know he was a cool guy an everything.
I dont care if michael jackson found a cure for cancer, one less deviant for parents to worry about. |

I think it was the best thing for him. He's been mentally dead and physically rotting for the last ten years anyway. Seeing pictures of him on his 80th birthday would've been the bigger tragedy. |

Yeah but by the time he reached 80 years old, most of his body would be under 20 years old and all have a parts and labour guarantee.

This.
The term innocent until proven guilty obviously doesn't count if the media can sell papers out of it though

MJ was a genuinely talented singer and dancer. I'm sure his music brought inspiration to many.
He had a troubled childhood and I have respect for him.
I don't care what people say, he was a legend.

I just saw it on CNN. They transported his body in a helicopter. He is definately dead. I was kinda shocked to see these news.
Sure, he was weird in some ways, but he was still a great musician and influenced the who business.
