Hmmm.
On the 29th isn't the best idea IMO...being that the 29th is my birthday, and after working a really really really long day at a physically demanding and draining job, I was looking forward to coming home and playing some EVE to relax and unwind heh.
At least with the time difference the downtime starts at 8pm for me, so I might be able to get 1-2 hours of EVE in before it all goes to custard.
I'll remember this when it's CCP's 30th birthday, trust me

How can you have cap op and not the skills they have listed for the new prereq's. IMO you fail. Shield mgmt, Shield op and engi are all basic skills that everyone should have at lv 5. Shield mgmt takes what 2 weeks? Come on |

I ask, very politely, that you please don't break anything with this upgrade. We Americans have a big holiday weekend coming up, and many of us are looking forward to some extra Eve time.
Our last holiday weekend, we couldn't jump through gates without random lockups. Made things quite difficult to enjoy.
Let's hope the QA team covered *EVERYTHING* this time! |

Defensive starbase structures such as hardeners will have their anchoring, online and un-anchor times reduced by 50%. Finally, all starbase tower un-anchoring times have been reduced by 50%.
What about timers on industrial modules like silos? Please tell me that you have spread the love to poor POS maintainers too...
No, in terms of modules this change only applies to offensive and defensive modules. It is specifically aimed at things like sentry batteries that must be anchored outside the force field.
Originally by: iP0D EVE War 1.2 is over and now they start to look at pos spamming
Not so much the actual tower spamming as reducing the 'time vampire' nature of setting up enough modules (20-30+) to create so-called Death Star towers which could take a single operator 12-14 hours to do properly.
How in any way does this not encourage POS Spamming even more? I see no good reason to change the mechanics unless there is further intent to look into the effects this will have on 0.0. It's just like you're giving people more reasons to make 0.0 life miserable for the masses. |

Originally by: Deva Blackfire Its already insanely hard/almost impossible to stop pos logistics (moon minerals hauling, stopping pos refuels etc) thus the war of attriction does not exist. And with current "safe" moon mining + amounts of isk it generates the ISK suddenly becomes less important for spaceholding ally. Pretty much 5-10 r64 moons can give you enough isk that you dont worry about money during whole war and only thing that can kill you off is poor participation.
Quoting truth.

Those fixes were postponed to a later release to focus the development and testing of this release on the inventory service database layer changes.
So you're dropping the fix for a list of game-breaking bugs in favour of an incremental development of a feature that works?
There are problems with inventory as stands, but I can't see that it's this high a priority compared to making the key feature of Apocrypha actually usable.

Thank you for answering, now, who decided that you should postpone a bug that just about destroys the FUNDEMENTAL part of your last expansion in favor of implementing a change that (while necessary and good) would not have had any ill effects by holding off a bit longer? |

Shield management 5 is a great skill to have. Its too bad that tactical shield manip 5 is not the most useless skill in eve.

There are plans being made to answer that question in the near future.
Translation: there's something in the pipeline for release soon, but we can't quite say there's something in the pipeline soon yet, so we won't go as far as denying there's something in the pipeline [because we can't], but it's too soon and the marketing team doesn't want us to formally confirm there's something in the pipeline for release soon [or: as soon as we can get those latest bugs fixed that make the release date slip one or two weeks (but we're feverishly working on it).
It's like some conference calls I find myself in from time to time.

I think CCP has done wonderful Job with the game. It keeps me wanting more. Yes, there are some glitches, as with all games, that's the nature of the beast. Over all, I'm very impressed with everything. I would like to say job well done. (On a different note)

Sorry, carebear here, but when you say
Quote: Strip miners, ice harvesters, doomsdays, triage module, siege modules and other modules which previously used a CPU bonus on the ship to allow you to fit a special module now use a new ôCan be Fitted Toö attribute and no longer need the high base CPU to restrict the fitting of the module. The CPU on each of these types of modules has been adjusted to no longer require a 10,000 CPU base as a result of employing this new method.
I assume that a ship like an Exhumer that has a 99.5% reduction to the 10,000 CPU you would simply reduce it to 50 CPU and then have things like Mining Laser Upgrades affect the CPU like it does currently so that the amount of CPU used by Strip miners and Mining Laser Upgrades is going to be precisely the same both pre- and post-patch.
What about Covert Ops? Are cloaking devices included in this? If so the Covert ops cloaking device II (for instance) will have it's CPU reduced from 10,000 to 200 at level 0 Covert Ops skill and still at 0 CPU at Level 5 Covert Ops skill? I assume the ship descriptions will be rewritten to accommodate and clarify this. |

nope, closer to 3,10,20 for subsystems. Hulls are probably what was being tested in the thread you read.
at the bolded part.
Can I ask if the different grades of relic will still affect the chance of successful reverse engineering as well as the bpc numbers ?
If so then the small corps that are making their living off the class 1 and 2 w-holes are being pushed even further out of the picture. |

Woot! I love each and every patch and "free" expansion that comes out. It just means the game is growing and getting better. How many other games you all played where 6 years later they are still adding to the game? The more and more I play this game the bigger and better it gets. |
