We don't have a ****ing constitution or any enforceable rights, obviously the government didn't take it to heart. Oh wait they banned guns, thats what they took to heart. |

If they can't have guns they can't revolt, until the CIA gives them guns.
I would prefer not to wait around for a foreign power to give me the power to remove my government. |

Aye sometimes the EU does some good but it needs more power to enforce the civil rights bills.
Magna carta has been slowly phased out since it was signed. Terror laws today are removing alot more of it.

The Magna Carta cannot be "phased out", it is one of the cornerstones of what passes for a judicial system here and any statute law that goes against it is effectively illegal.
This hasn't stopped parliament from misbehaving over the years, but then I suppose nobody with enough power/money to do anything about it has been bothered enough to actually do something about it.
Oh well.
You know the UK and Poland asked to be exempt from the Treaty of Lisbons enforcement by the EU courts?
Quote: (e.g. UK opt-out from some legislation in the area of freedom, security and justice).
