I said that CCP has not stated anywhere that I am aware of that what occured in terms in "game mechanics" with the BoB alliance was "unintended." I'll admit that perhaps I worded it poorly. Some people seem to be under the mistaken belief that "it's not supposed to work that way." You have seized upon something I didn't say to make a point that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. The vague and very general instances I listed were meant only to show that just because someone gets "done wrong" using "game mechanics," it doesn't necessarily follow that it was "unintended" or an exploit. Even getting a GM to break the rules and rename their alliance was a serious mistake, with negative effects on their own morale and image. KenZoku was the central alliance in their coalition and responsible for coordination, morale and overall strategy, they failed miserably and I think it's entirely fair to say the other side was better than them, but that's just my opinion shrug

I think that was more the GMs fault for not sticking to the guidelines and pointing out what needs to be done instead of changing the name. you can always spot the fresh gms as they would rather cut and paste their automated responses then actually go into detail about anything lol
