Hi all
What do you think about a meta level filter function?
With 450+ items, is it not easy to sort them all.

awesome idea, ideally a "sort by META Level" tab. a must-have!

I tried suggest this ages ago, but apparently with out luck.
Iit really should be a no brainer to have a more advanced filter and since you can already filter on quantity, group, size, slot and navn it should be quite easy technically.
edit: eve forums does not compensate for bad spellig/gramma

I suppose the meta level is not stored in the table that's used to retrieve contents of containers.
The devs avoid everything that's not in the main table to reduce server load.
But such features like meta level lookup could be implemented on client side, using a mirror of related tables. Would 'just' slow down the client further more and eat up more disk space. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to do it this way.

I'm currently sorting meta levels as follows: Have a Station Container with T1 (Meta 0) items only (all unlocked). Drag 2 months of mission loot into container. Stack All. Drag unstacked items out into Meta Level Station Container.
I think CCP would agree that this causes unnecessary DB load..
I support the idea proposed by the OP.

Tried it too.  Hope this will be changed quickly. For detail view another column and else a "sort by".
