Nah. The footjoint is shaped wrong. And it's not a Vulture either (which is my own favorite mech of all time).
Catapult is vastly superior to the Vulture, (however the Vulture, admittedly is very awesome, i'm fond of the mid-heavy mechs, as opposed to the super ones such as Atlas or Blood Asp).
Catapult **** yeah!
Second Edit: Nah doesn't look right.
but can the catapult become a 80 LRM rack?
sitting at range and plinging people with 80 LRM salvos was a joy to be ---

No Clan technology means no Madcat, since it is a Clan Heavy.
but that means that there might be the Awesome and the Mauler, so it's all cool.
and also the Warhammer.

Originally by: Anyura I have a question for you MW experts out there - my first encounter was MW2, in which many mechs changed their names. For example, the Mad Cat was known as the Timber Wolf, the Thor was previously called the Summoner - am I getting something confused?
Regardless, I have just watched the videos and am currently salivating like a dog for MW4, mech names be damned.
the names you see in MW4 are the nicknames gave by INS to the Clan Mechs. So the Timber Wolf is known as Mad Cat in Inner Sphere, same goes to the Summoner, which was named "Thor" by them Spheroids. ---

Anyway Bring on the Daishi. I wonder how many other mechs will make the cut.
Hope all the one's we know and love will make an appearance.
Daishi/Timber Wolf = Clantech = not showing on the game.
remember, Inner Sphere tech only. it's the 3rd succession war, before the clan invasions. ---

but the way each thing works in both games are different though. And while customization is nice, I would rather they stick close to how things are in the story, there's a reason why clan mechs are more versatile, as most IS mechs are limited in customization.
perfect example of it:
Thanatos vs Summoner (Thor)
and
Atlas vs Dire Wolf (Daishi) ---

A Summoner is about 10 metres tall. A Thanatos is several thousand metres long and armed with fighters. My money's on the Thanatos.
but the answer was posted above me so all's fine ---
