makes sense to me you pay a premium for the convenience of not having to shop around time=money
Jita saves you time at the expense of money Shopping around saves you money at the expense of time.

The amount of isk you make per unit time, aka the "effort", is far superior now.
Sure, I remember when you could get HACs for 40-50m and interceptors were 4-6m. But I also remember that being able to afford such things wasn't any easier then.
In fact, despite the prices you see now, T2 is more of a commodity item than it ever was. If you want lower prices, get CCP to curb the incessant ISK inflation.

Get rid of the major isk faucet (missions) and there would be less inflation, due to a more constant, rather than growing, supply of isk. Just sayin'

You would also get rid of a lot of players. The immediate cause of T2 inflation is prom/dyspro market manipulation. Many named and T1 items are suffering deflation. It would be nice to have the information on isk sinks and sources to see what is really going on. In the meantime it would be nice for people to make constructive proposals for a change.

Lets not forget that the fall of bob means that all he resources they used to pump into the markets has dried up while the goons fumble around trying to figure out what to do with their new found wealth in resources.

Given that NPC bounties and Mission Isk rewards are the only 2 forms of ISK generation in-game how is cutting off all money supply in game going to help make items affordable?

Edited by: Descrambled on 13/07/2009 01:40:20 I'm just tired of paying these crazy prices for t2 ships. All this means is extra grinding of mindless rats & roids or be the stock broker I never wanted to be. Some pve is fine but these rising prices just make this balance less fun...
Bring back the moon exploit or whatever please the game was much more fun back when HACs and interceptors were cheaper
Then again i probably shouldnt complain since I still have 2 HACs and force recons...... <---------

Mass ragequits will redistribute rather large amounts of ISK throughout EVE (a rather small percentage will give people their stuff, in theory). A golden age of richness will pass over EVE, and everyone will trade items freely with no concern for profit (it makes sense! shut up!) Everyone will be happy and content and live happily ever after.
It will be a good week. Don't after about the week after. No one really wants to worry about that hell.
Everyone forced to mine asteroids....the horror....
