What concerns me though is what sort of message this sends to other nations and what it can potentally mean on the political landscape. "your country have a collapsed economic situation? Join an alliance of nations today!"
Id love to hear from someone who has more understanding though on this matter. On an unrelated note, Kneel before Zod! |

Hmm, earliest Iceland can join is in 2013 right after the world ends.

This is an obvious plot by the Icelandic Elite to take over Europe and later the world by means of infiltration and deceit!
I also suspect CCP of being involved in the core planning of the Icelandic endgame.
I am pretty sure DrEyjoG has engineered the global economic collapse, this is why the quarterly economic is always late.

Edited by: Meiyang Lee on 16/07/2009 16:55:34 Last time I checked the EU-parliament was demanding they pay back the money the collapse cost first, and they'll be considered after that.

Whats wrong with unification? Think of the cake that will be made in celebration. Economic collapse is better than the "doomsday" scenarios that achieve the same thing.
I welcome you Iceland, prepare for the mountains of paperwork and endless debates on how long a 1m piece of string is.

some legislation in a terror bill was used to freeze Icelandic assets before they stole them out of the country to payback their own debts first or something.
in other words the UK did what any sane nation would have and was the right decision for the British :)

cool they can enjoy having a flood of immigrants into their nation who are 'good for the economy' says the head of a business cartel who love socially damaging ubercheap labour, yet send all the money they can spare back home, taking it out of the local economy.
never quite figured that one out perhaps i'm just not dishonest enough to understand it

Pretty much this. No reason to be in the EU except for fear of economic or political problems. EEA is good enough imo.
