What's your favorite race?

And I replied "there is no best race." From my experience of playing each race, they all are designed for a different style of gameplay. Oh gawd... Let the flaming begin. I personally like each race for a different reason, they all are intended for a different style of gameplay. (Although most people don't see this and assume every ship can do the same thing as another can). Amarr is my personal favorite because it's perfect for fleet fights, and I love fleet engagements. From my experience, they have the best tank in the game, and never need to get more ammo, so they can stay in space until destroyed. They also have the best range out of any ship I've played in the game, and can fight in short or long range with efficiency. My second favorite would have to be Minmatar, as they are perfect for small "hit and run" fleets, solo work, and roaming. Sure they have a mediocre tank and decent DPS, but they make up in speed and duct tape. Third favorite is Gallente, they are perfect skirmish vessels for small scale PVP. They are pretty good in fleets as well, as they are similar to Amarr ships in many ways except for ammo. My least favorite is Caldari. The Caldari are mostly intended to be a tactical race, which is why they have so many ECM bonuses (duh?). Caldari is my least favorite because although most of their ECM ships like the Scorpion, Blackbird, or Falcon can be very useful in a tactical situation, mostly all of their other ships just don't seem as efficient in PVP as the other races do. Sure, sniping is nice, but Amarr does it better. I've flown each race, and I can honestly say I don't think there is a "best race" (except maybe the Jove). Each race has negative traits, but the positives make up for the negatives when the ship is used in the right situation. But we all know that, don't we? What's your favorite race and why?

I'm Caldari because back when I started EVE as a highsec mission runner, the other highsec mission runners who got me into the game told me to start as that and train for Ravens and missiles... These days I can fly something T2 from every race as a matter of fact, and it depends on what I want to do as to which race's ships I use. I have to admit though I usually fall back on Caldari though, I love the range of the T2 fitted Rokh, and the Cerberus is my favorite HAC mostly because it's one of the few missile boats that manages to heave them properly :) If I could respec my skills though I'd have done things differently though, instead of mostly being Caldari/Gallente (with T2 Amarr and Minmatar frigates) I'd have gone Amarr/Minmatar instead. My opinions are my own and do not necessarily represent those of my corp or alliance.
