I don't think they expected this uproar at CCP when implementing this patch. Some dev just sat at his puter and grabbed a number out of the blue, expecting it to improve peoples experience of the "realistic" market-introduction with empty shelves in the beginning.
He probably didnt want to bother all the other devs about their opinion to the seedrate of these particular (IMPORTANT) sb's, and possible reactions from the playerbase.
Now it's too late to do anything about it, and we have a lot of p***** off players.
And no.... YOU CAN'T HAVE MY STUFF!!!

my guess is that those skills worth 15b @ npc price have given the "middle hands" 60+b?
talk about easy isk, its a freaking joke really. its the same **** everytime something is released. i get home from work and have to run thru like 10-15 regions before i might get new skill/bpo for npc price, if i am lucky that is...
i dont mind when its about bpo's but when it comes to skills it should be avaible to all and everybody that wants it without having to pay 4-10 times the npc cost

I camped 3 different schools in 3 different regions with my accounts. I logged on less than 15 minutes after uptime and all the Intel and Memory skills had already been purchased and marked up to 2x to 3x their standard price, if they were available at all.
They should seed a few more than 5 each per region per day. 15 of each skill per region per day would have made a difference.
Oh well, I'll wait a couple days :)

I'm losing what, maybe 4000 sp if I don't train the skills today?
Big deal, and those who were so eager to get the skills why didnt you just put a buy order out? I did, and juding by my wallet I know own every skill book thier is with the exception of one. Have to wait and see which one that is untill I can log out. It was easy and I could have done it with an alt had I wanted to. No need to wait in empire, now its just a quick jump in and then back out.

I know I will not make CCP happy by calling this a fiasco. It is not personal and I am not trying to pi$$ you guys off. Allot of my corp members are from the North American Continent. We woke up this morning to see that all the new skills and implants had been bought out by middlemen and were on the market at 10 million + isk markups. If you are going to do a limited release please let us know. We are unfairly targeted by markups just because we are in the North American time zones. It is not a big deal but it is a big ANNOYANCE for us.

I work for a living some of which pays for my subscription and all I ask is for the same chance as the next guy to enjoy aspects of the game which you deny me again.

I can wait for the skills. The only part that bothers me is that the purchaser is probably using an alt so even if I buy a over priced copy to get his identity I can't find out who is doing the marking up.
If I toll someone at a gate I'm a greifing pirate. If I sit in a station and buy all of a certain skill I'm a savy business man.
Maybe we could set up a low sec gank-a-thon for pirates who are waiting to be able to buy reasonable priced skill books.

Actually they do. My subscription ends on the 28th and once I didn't have any money on my card on that day. Didn't had any troubles loging in and playing and my card was charged on the 30th after I "reseeded" my card

To all of those people claiming to be disadvantaged by their timezone:
us Aussies will be happy for the downtime to be moved from 9:00pm-10:00pm our time (AEST) to 9:00pm-10:00pm your time. Then, once every few months, you can enjoy the 'convinience' of it.
Edit: After logging back in after server crash/reboot I have found that the skills have been re-seeded on the market. I hope everyone can get what they are after!
