...its only going to cover me for 8 to 10 weeks. I'm currently at 22.4 million skill points and with the advanced learning skills I will soon be accumulating in excess of 50 thousand points per day. It will not take long to pass the 25.6 million point level protected by the Uber clone.
It might have been insightful to add 3 or 4 new clone levels

The original description of clones in Beta was that quality would effect the probability of maintaining level 5/4/3/2/1 skills when podded.
I wonder if they'll return to this model in Shiva.

everyone is always talking about risk vs. reward, no matter if it empire hunting, 00 BS hunting, pirate gate blocking.
personally I don't think there is any more risk vs reward more tantilizing than not having clones cover all skill points. Nothing better than flying around unprotected and getting away with it.
it forces specialized characters, a specialized character can have all the skill he needs and stay fully protected with current clones.
what better risk vs reward can you have.
risk of loosing skill points when trained at such an uber lvl for flying around and playing the game however you choose.
and like you say, you'll be training at 50k a day so who cares if you loose some points, you can make it up EVE'ntually and it only takes you 50k a day.

he is jsut too far.
there is new skills out so he still need to train them
and there is going to be even more out on shiva.
but what about a clone.

dude best of luck with CCP hope they get you and the rest of the guys sorted out.
i think the whole clone thing is b-s
they need to take it off as it can make people loose months of play time.

I think he meant that you just respawn automatically upon death at binded station without the need to actively buy a clone. When I was starting out I had no idea podding meant lose of skill points till about 1mil sp....that would of really sucked, subscription cancelation would of happened instantly afterwards.
Anyway now that I'm aware of clones, they're fine, you need a penalty for death and a isk penalty is the best thing would could ask for.

i really wanna know how many people with over 19 mill #sp is there/.
i know like 10-20 just from forums. in skill section.

Think the price for a clone is rather expensive, and why don't you only pay the difference between two clones when upgrading?
