To what purpose do you use your Tempest?
In what roles it can overcome any other races's BS's in Preformance?

Well i'm no minmattar but i still use tempest. I use it for NPC huntin and PvP. Its really good at speed i think but tracking of the guns suck big time.

I sold my tempest and bought an apoc.
No tracking problems whatsoever. ;)

As battleship that provides the most fun - if your enemy flies one. 
To be serious, I have seen some people using it quite successfully as close range armor tank. Its medium to long range abilities seem to be screwed though, unfortunately.

hmmmmmm.. 1400s are mince... But id be happy to prove the tempest isnt, against any ship in the game 1v1.. not setup knowing they are fighting me mind ...

I use my tempest for pvp since it still has insurance on it and it refuses to die.
There are some roles that it can defeat other ships with, but I'm not sure if other ships can do those better or not.

Projectiles on a Tempest? HAHAHAH... Oh yea isint that supposed to be normal? NO, well I dont even use GUNS on mine... I like my CAP DRAINING MISSILE boat.. oh MAN! Yea, you know something has happened when you dont use your races guns on the BS :p

I use my tempest to fill up a garage-slot at my mission station atm. It's gathering a bit of dust, so maybe i should wash it, but slightly afraid what rust will do to it then.

i just trained for a tempy on entropy and will shortly be doing so on TQ, i may be odd, but i think (if my skills weren't gimped on entropy) it could be a very effective shield tank and have lows for tracking/dmg mods left over, the main problem i have found is the low cap, but cap boosters can help there.
i guess it could be good for long range, if only proj had better dot

I use mine to wedge open the hangers door while I park the Battleships that do work

Mine was parked in the hangar for ages, now it's Sold...
Fought a Minmatar Faction Stabber and it used lasers... so now we know projectiles are bad since the NPCs don't even use them
