HAM Drake - fail pvp?

Randy Hundley Amarr Imperial Shipment	Posted - 2009.07.28 20:13:00 - [1] I was playing with some HAM fits on drake and of course this ship needs to be up close to effect damage and will likely end up in web/scram range. Since this ship does not do alot of DPS versus HM drake and i cannot keep out of tackle range is this ship useless? Friend in PVP corp tells me just about any other ship curiser/BC can take down HAM drake solo pretty quick so what would be the purpose of this ship? what kind of fit would make HAM drake useable or are they totally fail compared to the HM drake?

Against an actual pvp fit they literally stand no chance. On whether to use hams or hm, it really depends. Solo, hams. In a gang, it's mostly personal taste whether you want more range or more damage. If you had problems with hams then it's probably because you fit it wrong.
